  • This video cheered up my friend.

Then he told me we're going to his place in New Jersey for Thanksgiving. Which I didn't know until now, after I bought all but one item of food. Everybody had snatched every can of cranberries by the time I made it through the massive knot of people in the fruit section.

I asked him if they have cranberries in N.J. and told him about my nightmare shopping experience.

He said 'Maybe you should have waited for me.'

Maybe?! I think 'definitely' is a better word.

  • @vickiormindyb I'm glad the video cheered him up

  • from Mindy-My mom said these videos help stop her nightmares. She's been having them every night since the beginning of September.

Maybe if the haters watched more calm, peaceful videos like this they'd get a clue. Then again, they're probably too clueless.

My dad always used to say, 'He (or she) wouldn't feel a clue if it stuck 'em in the ass.'

That always made me laugh so hard.

  • @vickiormindyb I wish more people would share more positively

  • Good work mate!

but if u'd allow me to give u a word of advise?

id say, yup u look awesome mate but little less of ur face and more of the actual place wouldn't hurt!

and also could u move the camera bit slower so we can actually see it in HD and not in blurred vision

but good work, lov ur enthusiasm...do post more of it ok!

    Thanx mate.

    cheers!

  • You should go out and make a better video.

  • lmao @ emo central

  • Being in NE Pennsy, in the States, yeah, i`m in need of that heat. I wonder if you can CAN it. Anyhow, cheers.

  • Stand really close to your screen.

  • Our friend bought a house that used to belong to the governor of a small town.

He spared no expense at fixing it up. Even the landscapers were surprised at his disregard of how much it would cost to complete the task.

There's one thing I don't understand and that's how you can go from literally living on government income then, when you get money, spend it like you've always had it.

I thought you'd be frugal if you went from nothing to everything financially speaking.

  • Most people who suddenly get rich lose it all

  • This place reminds me of where I'm going for Thanksgiving.

My daughter and I were invited to her dad's friend's house-that's B.-who owns land and a home in Pennsylvania.

He bought several plots of land and is having it restored to how it looked in the 19th Century.

I can honestly admit to having no idea why he's doing this, but this video has inspired me to take a tour of the restored areas

  • Sounds interesting :)

  • Some how when im carefull i end up doing the thing idont want to xD but thats life

  • Btw 5/5

  • Damn it would have been funny if you fell in the water although i wouldnt want to hear the swearing nice vid i can be there with out the risk of dehydraiting looks hot in there

  • I was careful not to fall in the water :)

  • how lovely

  • It sure is!

  • I was on this estate in Ripponlea!!!

    Very wonderful!!! MicheleIvan :)

  • It's a great place!

  • Yes thats right!!!

Thanx for my Video Link ;)

  • Ooooh, pretty gardens and nice house. ^^

Freaky ghostly coloured cardboard cut-out about a minute in. CREEPY!

Was looking at the orchards, but my eyes were drawn to the pile of compost. XD

  • It's a very interesting estate

  • breathtakingly beautiful

  • I'm gonna shoot some great video this weekend!

  • i have only one question can i have one?

  • One what?

  • giant garden thing

  • All you need is several million dollars

  • It's funny to see this. I love Rippon Lea. I used to work there and actually did the table setting in the great dining room! It took hours to do it according to Victorian rules and it had better still be perfect!

  • It's a fun place to visit.

  • Paintings like that were trendy for a while. There's a good one at the London national gallery of the Duke of Wellington in full military regalia being lifted to heaven by St Peter or someone.

Wellington had it commisionned himself, and in it St Peter looks more humble than Wellington.

  • That says all you need to know about Wellington.

  • Meh, I don't mind jazz but I only like that which is integrated with something else--mostly electronic music, mainly because it actually GOES somewhere :P

  • We all have our own tastes.

  • truly amazing beautiful scenery arrggh no no nonononono jazz musician. funny how heroin is illegal but really crap white jazz is somehow supposed to be art?

  • I'm with you on that one!

  • Oh yay! I've always wanted to visit Ripponlea. I'll get there one day.

I love old estates and could spend hours wandering around them, preferably completely alone. My favourite is Como House.

p.s. I love Jazz, chill Aussie, chill... :)

  • Well, I joined the National Trust so i can go back when I want to :)

  • Go you History Saving Champ you!! ;D.

  • Thanks for the video! It truly was a dream :) we have gotten about a 2 feet more snow since you beach video so it was nice seeing all that greenery.

Tsk tsk you must remember to not forget such important things XD

That flower sounds great, id love to have a tree like that!

  • Glad to provide you with a break :)

  • This was really good to see Angry. Good surroundings.

  • Glad you liked it mate.

  • THis was a great, rather soothing video to watch =D

And a welcome contradiction to th wet crotch video. No offence, it was fun and all. It's just that I watched it right after I woke up. Bad timing ..

  • hahahahah you gotta be careful.

  • It's a lovely place, had many excursions there with the kids to see pantomimes in the gardens!Magic times! :)

  • It would be easy to create magical shows there.

  • Cool!

  • Cheers.

  • Haha I remember going here for an excursion in primary school.

It was boring for me at the time but it's nice.

  • I would be bored on a school excursion too.

  • Seems like a lovely place to visit. Too bad that the jazz festival got in the way.

  • I mostly avoided it ;)

  • "Shan't be checking out the jazz festival" "Stumbled upon the Jazz festival"

    EPIC ROFL!

  • Yeah, and me without my gun.

  • Beautiful grounds (even that poorly designed pool). Gotta love all that green, although I'm more partial to lemon meringue pie.

  • Apparently the pool was modelled on 1920s Hollywood

  • Well that makes perfect sense. Hollywood is STILL poorly designed - just about ever aspect of it.

  • Thanks for your video. I really enjoy history - older homes and garden styles, etc. Oh and I DON'T like jazz music either.

  • This is a very interesting place to tour.

  • AA! Quite intersting about the way he started the garden only using the natural water flow. Peter Andrews has set up his farm on the same idea, check it out under Natural Sequence Farming.

  • Australia has some real champions of permaculture too.

  • Yes we sure do!

  • what an amazing place.... and the painting... i love angels... thank you as usual so much for sharing this!

  • I like to share :)

  • never stop :-)

  • Aww, it reminds me of old Rancho San Rafael, with a bit of Golden Gate Tea Garden & Street of Dreams thrown in.

Oh, Magnolia's. We had one in our front yard at the last place we lived. I miss it ;_; But I don't miss our neighbors. I've never been able to smell them though.

Thanks for the tour! Good choice of music for the background.

  • I'm looking to use more diverse original music in videos.

  • Wow that looks really great. Almost enough to make this Northern Hemisperian jealous. Thanks for showing!

  • I like to share :)

  • You know your not very "Angry" if you look at your replies to these comments. You seem rather polite. Just with a tad bit of color at times.

  • That's me - colourful ;)

  • I hate you. LOL It's like -10 here in Chicago.

  • I'm a little mean.

  • THAT'S an understatement.

  • Nice little retreat there. May be a little too close to reality with those train tracks, but it would still work for me. Heck, if a Starbucks within walking distance from my apartment would help to SOME degree, I can only try to imagine what a historic looking garden on the other side of the world could do for me!

  • The proximity of the train tracks and road is an interesting contradiction.

  • I imagine so. I also imagine that if I'm easily intoxicated by thoughts of an Australian year from clear up here, out there I'd probably not so much as do a doubletake at anything I wasn't supposed to see.

    ; )

  • awesome footage but would be better if you had some sort of image stabilizer, hardware or software. check out iLife 09 for Mac OSX, it has some sweet features, but i take it your using windows =[

  • Indeed I am.

  • shh dont let the windows noobs know mac is more awesome they might cry :P

  • great video man. that is very cool out there in melburn. is there any velodromes out there for cycle racing. cause it is big over there. great video again

  • Not sure, I'm not into cycling.

  • cool vid

  • Thanks

  • OOOOHHHH pretty!!!!!!!Lol carages...*spelling*what time is it in Austrialia?

  • Right now it's 3.41pm on Sunday.

  • AWESOME!In New York in the suburbs its (right now) 8:37 AM on Sunday but (when I posted it) it was 11:00-ish PM on Saturday....

  • argh, when you're trying to watch a masterpiece of a video in HD ("Yeah aussie it's your video, cheers ^^") you're quite often waiting for it to load. grr. :D (written while waiting). Do you btw have an 'angry' video out about the HD dislikes?

  • Loading does take a while

  • nice

  • Thanks

  • those gardens are really pretty. I find jazz obnoxious as well and many ppl think I am crazy for it but I think that has to do with living near Chicago. I like the larger variety of videos you have been doing now they are great.

  • I'm enjoying making the HD videos

  • Trying to keep up the variety ;)

  • fucking jazz festivals. oh well, at least it was a nice house and garden/jungle paradise lol! but i'm surprised they let you take any footage of the house because not a lot of places would let you do that nowadays. still, very nice indeed....except for the fucking jazz festival.

  • Their only restriction was no flash photography inside the house.

  • Nice all we have over here is ice and snow brrr!

  • We have sun and flowers!

  • Good video but I can only hear out of 1 ear its only having sound from the left.

  • Yeah, my mic went 1 channel

  • thats because the left channel is always mono so if one dies it goes left channel mono ;)

  • This and the melborne video make me want to move to Australia

  • There will be more!

  • Nice, I'de have to check that out of I ever visit find myself in that hemisphere

  • It's worth a visit.

  • I can't wait until July. Then I'm going to post a video of our local Japanese Festival. it is awesome!

    <3 Crazy Random Girl

  • That sounds very cool.

  • =0 what camera do u have its amazing

  • Details on my channel page.

  • wow the water is amazing in hd :p its lke im realy there!! lol rofl the water isnt fit for drinking kinda obvious..

  • I bring you gross water in HD!

  • hahaha

  • Gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing this!

  • I like to share.

  • Neat park :)

    lol@jazz festival

  • It's a huge area too.

  • Aw, I happen to like Jazz music ^.^ But now...i want one of those trees. Do you happen to know what the name of the tree is? And I agree with you about the pond...ugh! I had also been wondering how you were doing the camera deal when you were in front of it, but you unintentionally answered it when you got caught by the mirror. Nifty device!

I miss my camcorder... Anyhoo, awesome video! A bit different, but some variety now and again is good ^.^

  • Check the comments from 1994cg - she knows what tree it is.

  • Oh, the beautiful nature.

  • It is very beautiful.

  • You're making it easier and easier to want to come and visit. -calls travel agent-

    Awesome vid!!

  • I should work for the tourism board.

  • I feel the same about Jazz.

    Really pretty place though.

  • It is a great setting.

  • I wish I lived near Melbourne. :(

Seems like such a beautiful place.

  • It is a great city.

  • Andrew, thats pretty cool mate thanks for sharing this with us

  • I enjoy sharing.

  • Why not take a picture of the sign and send it to FAILBlog? Youll be even more internet popular =D

  • I think it's too subtle for failblog.

  • Great place to make a horror movie =D

  • It has the right mood :)

  • The music you used in the background didn't help in keeping away the thought.

  • It has been -32 to -40 here in Canada where I live - I just go from home to work to home.

So thanks for this video you lucky bastard.

  • lol same, aha same here in toronto, where about do u live?

  • I'm evil ;)

  • wow nice place you should have borrowed that painting with no intention to return it lol

  • Just a little too large to sneak out.

  • Cool vid. Ironically, John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things" would have underlined it perfectly.

    :P

  • A: Jazz, fucking hate it.

B: copyrighted music would get my video taken down.

  • I know... just wanted to instill a bit of angriness. That stroll made you way too tranquil.

  • That's fantastic, thanks for recording! Love these kind of places and sightseeing

  • I'm enjoying doing HD vids of the sights about town.

  • Looks alot like big gardens around here, you could be in my great aunts garden ;]

  • I think it was an attempt to re-create a big English garden.

  • Man that is a nice looking place. I'll favorite this video, may need it for a bad day.

  • Hope it works when you need it!

  • Find me a wild platypus! Just do it... =p

  • Harder than it sounds!

  • okay you're right I'm in the frozen fucking northern hemisphere just had to walk through knee high snow to get home and your little neighborhood garden paradise makes me want to spray cfcs into the air until where I live is like australia and australia is like mercury. Only girlfriend says I can't.

  • hahahhaha glad she's keeping you in line.

  • fuck... finally something that isn't about blunty. Oh and btw angry, i got past Ripponlea everyday to uni, good old Sandringham line.

  • The most unreliable line in Melbourne ;)

  • yeh it is a piece of shit now that i think about it.... fucking prices are going up as well. :(

  • Omg I've been there!!!

    Ahh the memories.

  • It's made for memories :)

  • fucking beautiful..thats all i can say

  • It is certainly that

  • Just a general question. Did you have to secure any special permissions to shoot (at least) the interior of the building? Lovely place, if I ever make it to Australia, I'll have to make a point to remember this.

  • well if you going to come here wear summer clothes and air conditioners installed in the cotten. it is boiling where i live in adelaide

  • Likely not going to be anything I can actually do for another couple of years, most likely, so have a lot of time for prep. work.

  • The only rule they had was no flash photography indoors.

  • It is good for a visit.

  • you dont like jazz music? ooft i would have been there in a second.. i could hear the song oportunity playing in the background:P not very jazz-ish at all lol but still easy to play on guitar, looked like fun

  • You're right, the song playing wasn't very jazzy.

  • That was really nice =D

The garden is so peaceful... and GREEN

  • It's pretty cool.

  • wow that reminds me of helsinki universitys botanical garden. but alot more dense im plant life. that would be a place id like to see in person.

  • It's worth a visit.

  • This Place Is GORGEOUS! I Want to visit Australia! We got to get some drinks when I'm down there!

  • Most definitely!

  • hey, that looks awesome. im suprised that i havnt heard of that place before, cos im into historical stuff. but mainly old macheinary. anyway, that name of that tree is Magnolia Grande Flora. we got one on the farm

  • Thanks for the info :)

  • Cool tour and great video, even though i like jazz LOL!

  • Glad you liked the tour.

  • It reminds me of a cool art gallery i went to once.

  • awsoem area!! somehow, england and austrila are exactly alike, in terms of people, languague, food, terms, housing, ect

i get that alot when people say sweden and swiss are the same, but there not.

its sunday? already? what? troll bridge, great, good thing its real.

    why do you hate jazz?

  • We're very different in term of climate, flora and fauna.

  • true, england rains alot, and its colder

  • i remember when i went that the green shit covered the entire lake and it looked disgusting

  • It does look pretty gross.

  • That was cool but I was a bit dizzy when you swang the camera around a bit fast. You definately do a nice narration! Cheers!
