  • theatres? THEATRES?! never.happened.

  • does this have 2 do with brother hood or da original?

  • they made 2 series and i dont think this movie is tied into either of them.

  • I wish they would make a new series :( but they kind of didn't leave room for a sequel :\

  • I saw this in the movies with my bestfriend :D it was so amazing on the big screen!! <3

  • FUCK! I missed it!!!

  • can someone please tell me what the song that start in 0:26

  • Is this the end of the show? I hope not, its such a damn good series

  • @LarkandCrash the show's already ended. this is just a movie i think that doesn't tie-in to the story

  • @manicmcgee1 oh I know I've already seen it, I just didnt know if it somehow was setting it up for another series or something

  • The animation doesn't look up to FMA standards, but the movie itself looks good.

  • @chibirobo99999 i'm not saying that i know for a fact that the movie is gonna be beyond awesome!, but it's just the animation like you said it doesn't live up to fullmetal alchemist standards .

  • @PixieWillow115 Whats wrong with the animation? Frankly I think it looks better than the anime series' animation.

  • Comment removed

  • @PixieWillow115 Yes...? I know. That's why I said this animation looks better than the anime series' animation...lol

But enlighten me anyway...Why do you think that way?

  • Comment removed

  • @PixieWillow115 Well luckily animation isn't really a make-or-break factor with a series like FMA.

  • @chibirobo99999 that is true.

  • @PixieWillow115 Yeah...I'm a die-hard fan too, no less than you are. So? I've seen the original, Brotherhood, movies, and the manga series. How does that statement qualify as a response? I'm asking for real detail not a biography. How so is the animation any less compared to the anime? Specifically what way artistically?

I'm not trying to be mean either. I am simply refuting you for more detail.

  • they messed up edward it doesn't even look like him!, and the song is "good luck my way" by l'arc en ciel

  • how many fucking animes do these guys own?!

  • umm. do you need to watch brotherhood to understand sacred star of milos??

  • @jpow62 nope, i'm pretty sure you don't! i'm not really sure if the movie is going by the brotherhood story or the original fma, but you'll understand it :).

  • they made the graphics sucks balls.... it looks like when naruto and pain fought... smh...

  • I watched the movie subbed already, but I can honestly say the dub for this and Brotherhood are top tier!

  • If this movie was made after the Father storyline it would be great, instead of some random storyline in the middle. And i wonder if they will make a similar opening like in conqueror of shamballa.

  • Im guessing this takes place in the anime's timeline or Brotherhood?

  • Edward's bangs are poofy. . .

  • Whats the name of the song at 0:25 could someone please tell me.

  • FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG THAT STARTS AT 0:26!

    Thanks in advance.

  • ...so when is this movie coming out? either online or on DVD?

  • @lonelyamethyst It's already out online... -.-"

    hxxp://ifile.it/elph7o3/Fullmetal%20Alchemist%20The%20Sacred%20Star%20of%20Milos.mp4

  • @ddogg871 but is it dub or sub

  • @SillyBee125 Subbed, sorry for the late reply

  • @lonelyamethyst it will be out on dvd on april 24! Cant Wait!!

  • @RayKaiLover This makes me sound stupid probably, but do u mean the english dubbed version or just the subbed?

  • @Majorb0ss I mean in english dubbed.

  • watchin the movie right know but wats up wit the animation? its like when naruto fought pain. really weird and not FMA style

  • dude loving the art style of this movie man

  • which NO respectable storyteller should ever do and instead of focusing on developing the characters the way SHE wants, we have another "wtf did THAT come from????'' ending and even more ppl who are actually questioning if the fma series (including anime) are actually ''shounen'' especially being compared to Bleach which has stronger female characters than the fma manga and brotherhood despite being created by a MALE.

  • to me, 2003 anime and manga r the best to a point. neither one of them have a good ending. its like this: 2003 ppl couldn't wait for fma manga to finish so they go and rush the ending and eventually mess it up. fma fans (mostly fangirls) got mad and bitched to the manga creator about making up a generic fairytale ending for a freaking SHOUNEN not that any and every woman in the manga weren't degraded enough and the manga creator said "ok as long as i have plenty of fans" (continued)

  • @lunaneko14 The 2003 anime does not represent the manga, it is more of a traditional western take on it. There are NO new characters in Brotherhood, Brotherhood is a true-to-manga anime, like many others. The 2003 version included many changes, some ruined continuity, some added to continuity. If you like it, fine, but don't bother arguing about it if you're wrong about many facts and trying to enforce your opinion on us. Both had flaws, but an overwhelming amount of people prefer Brotherhood.

  • I was like a heavy smoker that needed his fix, lol. Suffice to say, can't wait for this to release! April can't come soon enough!

  • @KoolCartoons pretty much I agree the manga is the greatest story overall. But for the two series that revolved around the manga, I believe that the 2003 FMA had the greater potential to tell the manga story, and it could have told it better. Not better as in changing the plot, but adding more atmosphere to like, like the series did with Nina and Hughes and so on. You know, not following the manga panel to panel like Brotherhood did. So I have to say 2003 was the better anime, but failed to finish

  • @LionHeart1990s I get what your saying but on the end this is all really a personal opinion to be honest.

  • @LionHeart1990s exactly.

  • @LionHeart1990s You're perfectly fair, but neither anime had enough run time to fulfil both roles. What the 2003 sacrificed has huge, but Brotherhood sacrificed things too, mostly detail and background. If 2003 could have kept to the manga it would have been much too long, same with Brotherhood, however, the potential of 2003 tumbled downhill when the sum of the plot holes got too big. It serves as great exposition, something Brotherhood lacks, but after the climax it was very poorly executed.

  • @xxDooMKaiseRDragoNxx Like I said, FMA1 would have did a better job than brotherhood. I don't know how popular brotherhood is, but FMA won a lot of awards. But I would say brotherhood is only good because it is carried by the manga like crutches. FMA 1 added more atmosphere when it was telling the manga story. Brotherhood couldn't do that. Even the filler in 2003 was good. That's serious talent from the studio team who did 2003.

  • @LionHeart1990s Yes, sure, but Brotherhood was not meant to have it's own storyline. Many fans wanted a true-to-manga anime, and so it ended up being held up by the manga. Sure, 2003 had an innovative talented crew, but it brought something new rather than something the majority wanted.

  • @xxDooMKaiseRDragoNxx I'm not talking about the second half of 2003. I'm talking about the beginning. Episodes 1-25. Which was the half that was faithful to the manga's stroy, though it didn't follow the manga panel to panel. It had the same story but things happened differently, like the battle on the train was a random manga chapter, but in 2003 it actually meant something. I'm basically saying 2003 took the manga's script and made a better one. But same story.

  • @LionHeart1990s so true

  • @xxDooMKaiseRDragoNxx majority is NEVER good. again, now we have a sappy shojo like ending to what couldve been bigger than bleach. seriously, the MAJORITY wanted ichixrukia or ichixhime but the creator said that he didnt want it to turn out that way. he wants the anime to focus on the fights and struggles of his characters. i wish FMA's creator thought the same way. FMA just wasnt meant to be a mix like say inuyasha bcuz inuyasha was STRAIGHT up a shojo/shounen.

  • @LionHeart1990s brotherhood's rating fell even after it got to the manga storyline mark. but you cant blame it on online sources because in 03-08 we had the same online convinences.

  • @KoolCartoons Brotherhood is only good because it got to tell the story what FMA 2003 couldn't. Because 2003 had to present itself with a quick story of its own, it gave itself more plot holes than Swiss Cheese, which is what it suffered from. Though it still kept itself mainstream even without the manga's guide. But of course brotherhood would be better than the second half of FMA, but only because of the manga's aid. So I say 2003 had greater potential. Even the filler was like no other.

  • @Wolftimber101 This is the movie for Brotherhood, and yes it's the only one.

  • Wait so this is the movie for the Brotherhood? I no tht the followup movie to FMA (original) is... actually I forgot its name but still... Is this the ONLY FMA:B movie?

  • @Br3hD no they still haven't released the FMAB OVA's ...

  • @imthefunnygirl there have even about 5 fma spinoffs since the end of the original (brotherhood, the short stories ova they made etc etc cum et allllllllllllllllll

    ie) spinoff = alternate reality

  • GO TO MY CHANNEL TO SEE MY REVIEW OF THIS MOVIE THE ENGLISH DUB WAS GREAT GO TO MY CHANNEl TO SEE THIS REVIEW AND AN ULTIMATE SNEEK PEEK IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE ^^fma sacred star of Milo's

  • Darn. I was hoping the next full-length FMA movie would be a continuation of Brotherhood. Please do something like that next! The fans demand it!

  • holy crap this anime is gonna go one for another 300 years!

  • @vtran31 No, this is just a movie and its probably going to be the last release of a movie or series related to Fma.

  • Sounds exciting!

  • i just got home for the movie, sooooo awesome. im a huge fan of the FMA world and this is a must see for any Fullmetal fan

  • ok so i saw this movie last night, and it was SUPER good. the bad thing was, it was subbed.. it said on the website thing that it would be dubbed in the theatre i saw it at. my very young brother isn't able to read well, i think he's 6 or 7.. so the words went too fast and all. but oh well, i guess. it still was an awesome movie and we got these little postcard things that have the movie cover on it c:! i recommend!

  • @azila17 really? the one I saw was dubbed.

  • @Pokefan2471 whaaat! aw man, i thought maybe that the dub wasn't released yet, ugh i was ripped off. out of curiosity, did you see it in Texas?

  • @azila17 ummm...no. I saw it in Portland, OR, at living room theaters. Though it was kinda weird, the posters had the japanese voice actors listed, but the Funimation website said it was the dubbed version.

  • maybe this happens before the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood begins. Because there is a four year gap between when Ed and Al begins their journey and where the manga and anime takes place.

  • FFFUUUUUCK I MISSED IT, WTF

  • AWESOMEST MOVIE EVER. SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!!

  • so how did they get back to amestris?

  • Cool how Scar talks for the trailer

  • Whats the song playing during the trailer?

  • It wouln't be in theaters in my state... FML

  • when does this come out?

  • Yet another attractive girl to spice up a movie.

  • @lebronjamesXD its a universal thing^^^^ attractive girl+fight scenes= shounen

  • Will this movie anything to do with either one of the shows like the movie following the 1st show or will it just be sorta like a filler?..

  • i personally think they shouldve made fmab with some elements of fma1 like eds rants n comic relief thats actually funny. and they should've made this anime like fma1 never existed n not rush the first 20+ episodes just bcuz its been done b4

  • @lunaneko14 btw ^^^^all work n no good comic relief makes a bad anime. n this may surprise u all, but in fmab, i didnt cry 4 nina. always cry in fma1 but not even 4 hughes in fmab

  • BTW shambala sucked, ill watch this movie hoping it'll b a much better effort. my only prob with FMAB are some of the characters n the events leading to the ending. ex, winry brotherhood= whiny bitch. winry in fma1 = badass. riza fma1= gun wielding goddess riza brotherhood= asskissing wimp. BARELY get 2 c izumi, and armstrongs sis (i was really looking forward 2 seeing her T_T)

  • @lunaneko14: Why? Because Shambla was more of a stand alone storyline, I actually own the DVD and LOVE it to death. The art from Shambla is what got me to LOVE anime films even more. Shambla had a lot going for it, sure it wasn't the best but you cannot easily write it off like that. Just because it didn't exceed your expectations doesn't make it bad. But think of it this way, now you have what you want. We ALL have what we want. Remember this is Japan, not the us.

  • @Pinochimon i kno that its japan duh! japan makes mistakes too and at least shambala was watchable. honestly, i place brotherhood (except 4 mustangs battle with lust) under shambala. its like watching worlds dumbest anime characters with most of brotherhood. believe me as soon as the brotherhood hype goes down, everyone is gonna c how epic the first FMA was

  • @lunaneko14 Not really 2003 will always be inferior to Brotherhood. And hell no brotherhood was far more epic then 2003.I don't think anything in 2003 can surpass episode 62 in Brotherhood.

  • @KoolCartoons The first half of the 2003 FMA has already proving that it could tell the manga story better than brotherhood and the manga itself. The only problem was that it couldn't, and by being on its own source at a short time period, alot of plot holes were dug in. Though it had more potential than the silly Brotherhood. Brotherhood is only as good as the manga can take it. It follows from panel to panel. FMA brought the manga at a higher note, and would have been superb.

  • @LionHeart1990s Please child, all you said was your opinion..You want to know why because any person could say the 2003 didn't have what it take to bring out the story and in fact is worse at presenting the story then Manga and Brotherhood.Brotherhood had more potential in general then silly 2003...See what I did there?

Out of all the nonsense you just said the only thing you said that was true was that 2003 did help with FMA popularity ....see next comment

  • @LionHeart1990s Continue from last....

But the Manga does not owe anything to 2003. the manga was far more popular then 2003 in japan all 2003 did was pretty much introduce outside audience of japan the world of FullMetal Alchemist.

  • @KoolCartoons sry, all new characters in brotherhood just seem like filler characters to me. didnt need them

  • @lunaneko14 There not new characters smart ass, they been around for quite some time.Plus a filler means a characters who aren't important to the plot. All the characters was important unlike 2003 where most of them were degraded.

  • @KoolCartoons if i havent seen them (like a lot of ppl who just jumped into 2003 FMA) theyre new to me. and exactly, didnt need the human dictionary to tell me that, thats the way i feel about most fmab characters, plus there's the punk ass way fmab treated it's characters

  • @lunaneko14 Your an idiot plain and simple there not new.And how they acted in FMAB was way better then there whiny angsty 2003 counterpart so STFU please.2003 is good but it's nothing compared to Brotherhood.

  • @KoolCartoons stfu u stupid sorry excuse for a fangirl with a goku blowup doll

  • @lunaneko14 Oh please you sound so pathetic it hurts, I never watch Dragon Ball z before so your statements is full of fail, faggot. But then again being failure was always something you couldn't help can you?

  • @KoolCartoons its none of my business but how did you know goku was from DBZ if you never saw the anime? or manga?

  • @shooter7424 Goku is a very popular character, Every who into anime will mostly know or should know who he is.

  • @lunaneko14: Japan is the awesome country that gives people what they want all the time.

  • Now then, I saw this movie a few days ago, and I gotta say I enjoyed it. Much better than Shamballa, but that one was cool too in its own way. What blew me away though was the animation, I raised a eyebrow at how everyone was drawn at first, but when I saw them move on the big screen: DAMN! BONES DID THEIR JOB SUPURBLY!

I'm definetly gettin the blu ray!

  • Yes... where is this movie chronologically?

  • this movie is a gore-fest....watch it.

  • if my boi from code geass is makkin dis movie. its gona bee hot!

  • If they still doing Fullmetal Alchemist movies ...i hope they come out with another seasons

  • @Darth666Ghost Brotherhood is done. Could the show possibly be about now that Ed can't do alchemy?

  • @KazokuMugiwara i dont know they could tell a story

of Edward getting is alchomy back and telling more of the gate and truth

or Alphonse Elric going to Xing

or a after story of this movie

  • @Darth666Ghost That would only end up being a huge disapointment. Like all those anime that have filler andings. It would also end up making that rest of the series look bad.

  • @KazokuMugiwara yea you right atleast this anime fill in all the gaps with brotherhood and left with Edward having kids and Alphone going to xing with may chang btw may chang look funny when she grown up

  • @Darth666Ghost btw its funny how edward beat the shit out of father

  • @Darth666Ghost thats right

  • If this is a movie, I 'd like to see if it's better than FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa.

  • @TheAceTriad666 i hope it is cause Conqueror of Shamballa new character barley did anything

  • I LOVE KAZUYA MURATA AND L'ARC ~EN ~CIEL!

  • Can someone please tell me where this movie is chronologically?

  • ima wait until it goes on dvd in theaters it always shows dubs dont get me wrong its hilarious to see what some people think japanese people sound like although I've seen how and its horrible both ways. it really is

  • What date duz it come out and what states in the U.S is it showing?!o-o

  • So excited for this.... Gonna see it in theaters next week!

  • YES!!!

  • @lunaneko14 dude what are you talking about? Al only sacrificed himself to get ed his arm back. He STILL had alchemy to help him end the big bad with THEN gave it up to get al AFTER the badguy was defeated! It makes complete sense! Your the fanboy who needs a brain transplant if you can't even get your damn facts straight!

  • @thatguy3331 i do have my FACTS straight. and the FACTS r that FMAB SUCKS. they (ed and al) began this journey together so why couldn't they END it together? their bodies have been at the gate for 10+ yrs now, THEY CAN WAIT. and im a girl u retard.

  • @lunaneko14 Honestly, I dont give a fuck about your gender. The only fact I see is that its your own fangirlish opinion and I HEAVILY disagree with you. disregarding that, I can easily punch holes in your little "facts": One, There never WERE any award ceromonies for anime other than the BIASED american anime awards, Two, edwards rants are your own damn problem, and Three IT WAS 2009-2010, people watch most of this stuff ONLINE anyway! u r free to have an opinion, but KNOW what u'r talking about

  • 2 words, google it. nothing can blow bigger holes in ur "facts" than google.

  • @thatguy3331 and there are many other awards that either dont require a ceremony or they are based in japan which can explain why you haven't heard about them.

  • Dammit dammit dammit I missed watching this in theaters by one day.

  • Definitely buying this...

  • I watched the movie in theatres. For some reason it's not as well animated as the regular FMA anime

  • I demanded it like three times for Orlando on eventful I really hope it works

  • Hey Funimation make a movie that take place after they go their bodies back.

  • NO WAYYYYYYYYY

  • Fuck yeah!

  • I just saw a DMCA take down notice from FUNimation against google search, shame on you FUNimation go after the sites not the search engines.

  • OMG I WANT IT I WANT IT TELL ME WHEN IT COMES OUT

  • @darkflame0582 It'll be released on DVD April 24th.

  • Deos anyone know what this soundtrack is?

  • This was SO worth the hours of traveling. X3

  • i so wanna see this, but i've gotta drive a while to see it though

  • @narutonevergivinup but order tickets fast cause its like a 2 day to 2 weeks event and it sometimes be pack ......but the english dub be out dvd in march

  • im a huge fan of fma and ive seen every episode and read all the manga and when i heard that there was going to be another movie i got all exited but now that i saw the trailers im kind of dissapointed about how they change the character in the way they look like ed seem like a totally new....ed but still seems pretty sick and i want to watch so much!!!!!!

  • @MrGoddamnit123 The artwork in the movies tend to be different than the regular anime series
