I'm thinking on buying a projector but there are no many typs and marks.. so this one really impressed me and the price is not bad at all.. i would live to know, if possible, if you guys think its a great idea to buy of of these.. Im not an expert and dont need a superprojector but one good enought to watch some futball and to play some films in a good size..
The Aiptek T20 is even more affordable. Bought it a few days ago for 120 euros (around 150$). Same specs but it has no SD reader or built-in memory. It needs to be plugged on a PC (netbook, notebook, desktop... whatever). Image quality is very impressive. I always carry it with my netbook, a very nice product !
Just - THANK-you! This shows me exactly what I needed to know, you covered all the important basic questions, it was specially good to see it in different contexts
if you want proof then here be amazed Look it up PK-102 OPTOMA PICO POCKET PROJECTOR 4GB BUILT IN TO STORE VIDEOS, PICTURES, AND MUSIC 2000:1 contrast ratio DLP LED light source lasts over 20,000 hours while producing excellent color 80 Inches of Picture Built in speaker Can hook up to ANYTHING with a Eport/USBport and and VideoPort And the BEST part is that its the smallest Projector in the WORLD!!!!!! I have a custom 80GB model Best you can get
as long as the the device u want to connect this to has the video connections that fit this device. such as the normal rca connections(red, white & yellow)
Thanks so much, I've been trying to decide whether to get one of these for easily portable presentations - I think, looking at this, it will do the job. Now I only have to decide whether to wait for the V20 - can't find out what the difference will be.
Aiptek are usually, in my experience the 'hidden' technology company. They are not so well known in the UK. I have bought several Aiptek products. They all work superbly, notably a handheld HD DV camera. I have taken some of the best stills photos I have ever taken with that camera. The video quality on it is amazing (but shite in low light). I'm not sure about the projector, don't have one, but I am tempted to order one.
It may look cool, but Aiptek products are all extremely shitty quality. I bought a camera from them and the LCD screen just stopped working for no reason. The camera "works", but there is no viewfinder, so I can't see what I'm taking pictures or video of. Or if I'm taking pictures or video. Just save your money and buy something much better that won't break after a month or two.
you need an duel ended jack lead like your headphones but have the male end on both sides. You can get them from loads of places try a local market for the cheapest ones.
if you take out the four screws you can adjust up to 100 inches clear. I did it today at work. there is a half gear inside that and spring. my coe work just bought one and his was more clear than mine. so i popped my open and what do you know they did calibrate mine right . now i love it. every Go out an buy this thing now. but open unless you are ready for spring to jump out on you.
Don't buy the Aiptek pocket cinema V10. I bought one and it stopped working after a day. I contacted customer service at Aiptek. Even though the unit was just purchased, they would not replace the unit, only repair. They said it would take two months to return the unit in working order. BEWARE!
if you really want one that will really work in your home but is still small, get the Mitsubishi PK20. This ones for camping and stuff like that. nothing big.
Good Video. I was thinking of buying it. What is the max size you can project without losing focus, and does it support widescreen at all? Without the bars
hi just bought this after your vid presentation from firebox...now that youv played with it, is the pic and vid qyality good and im bit worried about bulb, how will i replace this if and when it burns out or do i need not worry, will certainly use it for 5hrs a day playing wii and doing powerpoints
My shit just stop working for no reason. Thank God it happened after my interview.

LMFAO @ spanish U2 song! Anyway, Optoma Pico looks better, has DLP tekmology and can project 60" to 100" in some cases!

You can use an 8GB SDHC card with the PocketCinema V10 and its got back lite buttons. Other Pico projectors don't offer this....Cool!
This could be the best one on the market?

Hafizmi5 3 years ago
The bulb is LED. It will probably never burn out. If it brakes you can contact the company who makes the projector
KillTheFuckingPhone 3 years ago
that bulb lasts 20000 hours, that's over ten years if you use it daily for 5 hours.
