You don't stop loving somebody just because of the perception that they are evil. That doesn't mean I cannot back risk mitigation. Unconditional love seems reasonable. Unconditional protection (harboring), backing or supporting not so much. I can't imagine that I'd be less favorable to my kid than any other serial killer or rapist.
I've heard some people make a distinction between "liking" your relatives and "loving" them. I think the idea is that "love" is a bond you inherently have, particularly with those you have familial ties with (probably adaptive in natural), while "liking" someone is something more based on your relationship with them.
Although, to be fair, I increasingly feel that I love my friends FAR more than my family.
@WatcherAzrael ...actually, I don't think that comment was awkward enough. So: I LOVE YOU LIKE A SISTER, KATIE! A HOT SISTER, WHO I WANT TO FUCK ALL NIGHT LONG! :P
I would actually love my children more if they were cereal rapists. At least they were be productive.

What about uncondiitional love for the cross-dressing masses?

@LadyLolitaJenny All cross-dressers deserve unconditional love.

We need to nigger that "rapist" term... Each serial raper has different ideas and we lump them in the same category as one time offenders.
