The funny thing is in this project Kojima isnt nothing but an advicer, he not even directing it. The game its being developed by the Spanish developer Mercury Steam and produced by David Cox not Kojima productions.

I'm holding my breath on this one since we've had 3-4 3D Castlevanias and so far none have lived up to the 2D ones. Hideo developing is a definite plus as Iga failed in his last 2 attempts. Lament had a chance at being great but the repetitive level design killed it.

I´m very happy to see this new Castlevania, because Mercury Steam (Clive Barker´s Jericho) is the studio behind this new title and they are from Spain (Madrid). It´s good that Hideo Kojima work together with a spanish studio.
