I've been a Joe (and ACTION FORCE) fan for over 25 years yet don't feel 'slapped in the face'.

The movie looks a lot of fun and captures the core of what Joe is about. Sure the uniforms are different but there's more to these characters than their clothes.

If the 'look' is what makes GI JOE 'right' then by that logic the Sunbow cartoon was the franchise at it's best. Yet, clearly, it was NOT.
