yeah, do, go into hell's k, the blocks near thehudson and the high rise housing, there is alot of irish there.. but go to woodhaven in queens or woodlawn in the bronx they are irish too. it's pretty easy to go to the bronx from midtown, just be careful it's the worst borough imo for scumbags, but you would love woodlawn, its tough but irish and they are good people there, also gerritsen beach near coney in brooklyn is FULL of irish, there is too many places to mention lol.take care.

Yes mate, definetely have a look around! It's all changed now but you'll still find Irish bars and Irish people...but it is generally accepted that the Westies have gone from there...where are you from? Our band here is from West London!

Southie is still pretty Irish as is Charlestown, but the yuppies have invaded & driven up the cost of living, so Irish families can no longer afford to live here. Only the projects have the blacks & spanish. Although they used to be all Irish too.

Mike O'Dea the director has decided to relocate the movie to Winter Hill in Somerville because Ben Afleck is also planning to shoot his movie The Town in Charlestown. Apparently Afleck's film is about Charlestown gangsters so Mike decided he had to act quickly to avoid similarities with his movie. It will now be called Code Of Silence instead of Townies.

A chara, Honour of The Gael is the name of this song. It was originally written for the film Townies which has now become Code of Silence and will be filmed in Boston next year 2009! We're currently writing new songs for the movie as it is now going to be set in Winter Hill, Somerville rather than Charlestown.
