Gosh Roger sounded so good with that deadpan delivery of his....it could STILL BE 1966! Ha ha ha. Had I known about these guys in '99 I would have flown to New York from Cali for this performance.

If these are all the same Monks, considering this was 35 years after they first were performing this song, they sound extremely good and not much different. Could one of the original guys still be able to sing the high notes? Or did they have a stand-in do that part?

@hebneh Eddie called their friend Mike Fornatale because Gary had a bad throat and Mike sang for him and did a great job. Mike, I would have been a nervous wreck singing with the Monks!
