In my personal opinion, from the provided photograph samples, it kind of causes the image to appear similar to that of a cheap mobile phone camera. I discovered a post-production method which works kind of better; it allows you to control the strength of the highlight blur. Just modifying the glow filter in Premiere Pro or After Effects, using a Screen overly mode looks pretty nice with some tweaking.
nice tutorial, hey can u tell me or can u just made a tutorial about shooting in low light scene because I have a lot of grainy problem when I shooting in low light scenes(actually I use AV mode and it automatically set ISO speed to 3200 or 6400 ) but I think for the grainy problem I also have to deal with shutter speed right?
One way to reduce the grainy look (aka "noise") is to go into the menu and set the high iso noise reduction to strong. (not all cameras have this option) Also another way to reduce noise is to buy a better lens with a bigger aperture like 1.4 or 2.8
your vids help a-lot, GREAT stuff many thanks!
