I'd much rather have an interesting and crazy cat, then some big, fat feline that just sat on a shelf and stared at me all day long! gotta give it up to Mekon!

I am a cat lover and I found your story hilarious because many years ago I adopted a feral kitten when it was maybe 2 weeks old. CLEO not only looked just like your cat she behaved the same way. I had her for NINETEEN years!! I see the negative responses here and trust me folks unless you have had to deal with one of these terrorist cats dont be so quick to judge. this is one of the funniest stories I have ever heard. So glad you made the commitment to get him a safe place. I also had a deranged cat a few years ago, a Manx w/ no tail, Bentley. I kept him till he passed on to kitty heaven, but he was a hellcat, attacted my room mate and a neighbor who used to feed him. Now I have a psycotic jack russel, he had 5 owners before me when he was 3 yrs old, he's 8 now and we manage, he's better, but he'll always be a jack russel. So, ther's a place in heaven for you!
Also on the farm are four large dogs, a badass lady cat and some horses. It's all very idyllic and lovely. The woman who took him in emails me every once in a while and Mekon's reportedly gleefully stalking mice and getting along with the other cat and generally fitting in very well.
Now that Mekon is on best of Craigslist and I have tons of people asking what ended up happening to him, I guess I'll put it here.
I actually did manage to find Mekon a good home; since late February he is living on a farm with (hilariously enough) a herd of fainting goats, which have minor seizures and fall over when they are surprised.
1. Don't be a dick. If you read the whole post that you followed here, you would have noticed that these are videos of Mekon from August 2006 when he was maybe five weeks old. It is now March 2007. He got a lot bigger, and even after he was fixed he did not settle down and continued to bite and scratch all the time to the point where my arms were covered in scratches all the time.
2. ...I guess I don't have a second point, here. But seriously, you have no idea what it was like living with that cat. It was like purgatory. I miss him so much.
he looks like a cute cat, and i do go to USP, but i cant be around a cat more than 5 minutes or else my lungs will constrict so much that i have to go to the hospital. might not happen now because ive been getting alergy shots buuuuuttt, i hate cats.

I've seen a kitten like that before. Cute but energetic and vicious, it was assumed it was taken form its mother too earilly.
Funny thing is, I was the one thing the kitten wouldn't attack.
