@marine9588: that picture you're talking about where the crab is as big as the trashcan...it's not a fake!!! It was taken years ago, the crab was caught up at the air force base on Guam! Some coconut crabs can get so big...if you were to spread out it's legs...its as big as the hood of a car!

Yep also rubber crab^^ but do they really breathe through a hole in their back..? I thought they breathe like any other regular crab on land or in the water.. They've got small holes above their "shoulders" which lead to the lungs or gills afterwards the air or water comes out again through small holes near their mouth.. That's also why they sometimes got bubbles around their mouth..

Fun little factoid:

Birgus latro is actually a type of hermit crab. Biggest difference is that its abdomen has armor protection so it never needs to look for an empty snail shell. None would probably fit a crab that size anyway.

@themasteriswatching a small anthropod that is easy to handle is the jumping spider. They are really docile, some are skittish, but they won't bite unless you grab them like a beetle or if you were to have one get squeezed against you, like maybe trapped in your shirt or something. I handle them all the time, and never been bit. I just let them jump or crawl onto my hand to hold them.
