There's an even easier solution than this one. Buy some bottles of Grolsch with the flip-top lids. The rubber washers fit perfectly over the strap button to hold the strap in place.
just spend the 20 bux on Jim Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks they are the best ones ive ever used just put a pair on my new thunderbird pro IV (i also have Schallers on my other thunderbird and i mean they are OK but they arent Great like the Dual Design Dunlops)
@rockexpert I've played shows, and thrown guitars around like crazy with these things on. Sometimes i'll try to double them up and put two in the holders with the strap. But from what i've experienced, I've played multiple shows with all my guitars (except for one that was already equipped with Dunlop Strap Locks) and thrown all of them like crazy (as I play quite wildly) and i have had no slips or anything. Now i'm not saying it couldn't happen. But incase one snaps I would bring back ups [:
thanks im ordering a guitar today and i want a strap due to the fact im only 12 and i want 2 carry it around cuz i like mastering everything!yoyoing 1 day to master and get most tricks, banjo too days and few other
dang dude!!! You bumped your guitar on something 19 times in the video. lol I would have moved the camera by at least the 15th time ROFL, just giving ya a hard time.. But for real... that's the best and easiest simple fix I've seen for keeping the strap on.
fucking hell.... it actually works
