You have to remember, we're talking 2000 years ago. Polygamy was okay then because there were many wars and famines among other things. You have to remember, we're talking 2000 years ago. Polygamy was okay then because there were many wars and famines among other things. God's ideal image of man was 1 man, and 1 woman, and after a while there were enough people on earth for the unity of 1 man and 1 woman, but back then, the women were better off being in a polygamist family, due to the aforementioned things. There were twice as many women as men, and they didn't marry for lusts, they married to create a family.

The whole about polygamy back then was this... there weren't that many people. There were TWICE as many women as men. The next best thing for women back then was prostitution. We all understand the bible how we do, but there are stories in there about men wanting men...but again sin is sin we have no heaven or hell to put anyone in. for me to understand it i think of it from a straight perspective. i was born attracted to boys and it wasn't a choice. it just came naturally. on the flip side that is how gays feel. they were born attracted to the same sex and it just comes naturally. thinking of it that way helps me understand it better because my gay friend in 8th grade explained it to me that way. after that day i stopped judging.

the funny part about her parents is they are both brought up to believe in god. one is catholic, the mother is Jewish. but neither of them step a foot into church or synogog. So what i believe is that we need more love in this world. and as a christian, i believe that love we can have is through the lord Jesus Christ. If you know how to read the Bible, Jesus actually said that some people are born gay. (when he said some men are born to not marry women, some men choose to be celibate, and some men are castrated when he described three types of men that do not marry women) In fact, there was no word for homosexual until the 14-1500's, so there is no way it was ever in the original Bible. It was added later.

The message of Jesus was Love. Everyone deserves a better standard of life, but those who discriminate against them are the problem. I promoted gay rights and various other democrat liberties for six years. I would never condone of such a thing, but I am sorry to tell everyone, sodomy and unity do not deserve any discretion of equality. One time I remember speaking at a seminar for same sex adoption and I mentioned the gay marriage movement was about sexual and romantic freedom, the ONLY true thing I said that day.
Jesus preached love? Yes. He also teaches rebuke.

Saying things like "rebuke" gives permission to boys to beat up another boy and leave him for dead, or to another boy to shoot one in the head. You did not do it yourself, nor did you encourage it, but your words were enough, it was all they needed to hear. Problem is, it isn't even a real sin, just something some people made up around the 1400's. It is so sad.

i seen a documentary of twin boys. maybe around 6 or 7 and the mother and father said one was into the action figures, and the other was into girly things. and no matter how much they tried to give him the action figures, he didnt want it.
