CEBU is recently proclaimed as "THE DANCE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" by no less than the GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS after beating the record set by BUDAPEST, HUNGARY in its bid for the largest dance class. Yesterday 7,770 young people from different schools & barangays came together to stage the BIGGEST DANCE CLASS in the WORLD! making CEBU the "DANCE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" . Before the said title CEBU was already known as the "DANCESPORT CAPITAL IN ASIA" & now it has already conquered the world!
oppss....may pahabol pang isang lapses...Wala kayong trumpheters...bugglers ika nga...Napansin niyo ba, halos lahat ng winners since before may kasamang trumphets sa mga musical instruments nila? So yun .... isa yun siguro sa mga nakitang kung lapses based on my observation. Lagyan ng trumphets next time para mas maganda music niyo.
Isa pang napansin kung lapses sa sayaw eh yung musicality. Good thing is dancers did well in putting vivacity to the dance. Pero yung music is parang walang variation. Pabalik balik lang xa. try niyo lagyan to ng iba't ibang styles at variation sa music so it that may elements of excitement sa dance. Music kasi nagdadala ng excitements sa mga audience. Pag maganda music, maraming naiinganyong manood.
Maganda ang sayaw. Medyo may kunting lapses lang siguro kaya di nakapasok sa top3. Infact mas maganda pa ito compared to dinagyang . Dinagyang kasi kala mo sasali na sa UAAP. Puro modernized yung routines. Yung lapses niyo lang is medyo unclear yung storyline nito. THe choreography was great. concept was clear (fishing, waiving baskets), pero wala kayong story sa sayaw niyo. Try to work it out, i'm sure you will make it to top 3 sa aliwan next time.
ang galing mo naman magcomments sa ibang Festival. Bat d kaya Festival niyo muna pagandahin mo tapos pag may napatunayan ka na tsaka mo sabihin kung anu maganda tsaka kung anu pangit.

guys you know why streetdancing of pamulinawen festival (laoag) could not be on top three, cuz this past three years i guess their focus really is to grab the hall of fame (three consecutive champion) in the float competition, which they did. we have to wait for next years aliwan, they will be on top three thats for sure. laoagenos are really talented so let's be surprised next aliwan.. go pamulinawen..

street pageantries like this should not only appeal to the senses but should also reflect the culture and traditions of a region. let GLEN MIGUEL explain how their dance is related to our culture as Ilocanos, i bet he could not say anything. uso talaga ang hiphop; almost everybody dances it, but not being danced everytime. maganda ang hiphop pero hindi palagi. if you are a dancer, you know where and when to use the music and the steps at KUNG BABAGAY BA YAN SA OKASYON.

Isa pang napansin kung lapses sa sayaw eh yung musicality. Good thing is dancers did well in putting vivacity to the dance. Pero yung music is parang walang variation. Pabalik balik lang xa. try niyo lagyan to ng iba't ibang styles at variation sa music so it that may elements of excitement sa dance. Music kasi nagdadala ng excitements sa mga audience. Pag maganda music, maraming naiinganyong manood.

Maganda ang sayaw. Medyo may kunting lapses lang siguro kaya di nakapasok sa top3. Infact mas maganda pa ito compared to dinagyang . Dinagyang kasi kala mo sasali na sa UAAP. Puro modernized yung routines. Yung lapses niyo lang is medyo unclear yung storyline nito. THe choreography was great. concept was clear (fishing, waiving baskets), pero wala kayong story sa sayaw niyo. Try to work it out, i'm sure you will make it to top 3 sa aliwan next time.

guys you know why streetdancing of pamulinawen festival (laoag) could not be on top three, cuz this past three years i guess their focus really is to grab the hall of fame (three consecutive champion) in the float competition, which they did. we have to wait for next years aliwan, they will be on top three thats for sure. laoagenos are really talented so let's be surprised next aliwan.. go pamulinawen..
