  • What year was this?

  • Very cool !!!!

  • You know, if that kid had some more features on that, he would've won a Scale control line competition or two.

Anyone know what the size limit for a safe control line plane is? I can just see a big four-engined model picking some poor pilot off the ground!

  • wanker

  • The sad thing is that in Britain that kid flying the planes actually gets pussy.

  • avro lancaster!

  • Thats not something you see every day! Good to see a B-17 with an RAF roundel, you dont see enough of that. The Lincoln is even more impressive! I wonder if you ever get dizzy with control line flying?

  • What-ho and all that!

  • Why did they use two handels in one. Its easier to control models with one single hand handel. (When the planes are not too lean)

  • Thought that was a Avro Lincoln, still in use wnen this film was made!

  • Great to see this, many thanks for posting. I have a control-line Messerschmitt BF110 with 2 x 2.5cc Diesels and its great fun and 4 must be something else.

  • That B17 looked like a real handful, I'd liked to have seen the landing!

  • Thats funny am just designing and building a lancaster bomber powered by 4 cox engines,

Does this guy used to fly with the Three Kings?

    Mike

  • Awesome!!! And I thought my Cox P-40 was cool in the 70's! (Can't count how many times I glued it back together)

  • Those Half-A's are fast little buggers. You fly OTS ever?
