I am absolutely in love with you. This is only the second video I have watched of yours so far, but you put exactly the thoughts in my head for the past 10 years into words. I couldn't agree more. I just finished my first year of pharmacy school, and the only reason I even got there was because of fear of disappointing my family, etc. Every single day I feel like my soul is crushed. Well, I liken this to the argument of teaching creationism and evolution in the schools. I first have to find out what the position of the parents is and work from there.

I believe that addressing the various systems of oppression lies with the connections we can make to what people care about and what they already know. The easiest example that I can think of is relating topics to money. Far too many are slaves to currency and the accumulation of wealth and goods.

Just a shout out to all the artists out there. Workaholism isn't just for businessmen. I work my art form at a leisurely pace with almost no professional ambition. But my artistic friends, instead of being on a business treadmill, they're on an art treadmill, driven and guilt-ridden over lack of success, just like accountants would be.

Actually it was something that came to me while watching A New Earth with Oprah and Eckhart. My connection froze before the end, but I did hear the question from the young lady about religion vs. spirituality. It made me sad to look in this beautiful woman's eyes and see how fearful she was to believe anything outside what she had been told to believe in her church. I felt inspired to jot down my feelings about growing up in Alabama and how I dealt with and overcame that fear. Then I found you.

Thanks Steve! I've spent my whole life thus far searching for this truth within me, always rejecting the norm in my soul, yet living the norm with my body and mind. What I love about this truth is that there are no strings attached.. there is no excess baggage, only the understanding of what really is!! The sad thing is if this understanding becomes "popular".. the media will probably try to say we're brainwashing ourselves... HAH!

You've had some great videos, but i think this is my favorite. Right on the mark! Just like they had a prohibition on booze in the early 1900's, there is a prohibition on consciousness in our culture today. Thank you Matrix for your intriguing comments. Thankfully consciousness is the only thing they can't institute prohibition upon. Freedom manifests when we see beyond the Matrix; a system which is designed to make us "good little batteries." However no external force can prevent our spiritual liberation.
