Life is weird, when everything is going horribly wrong if you just stop and look you'll see or find something that will make you feel calm. This song does that and both stories explain it.
@ilikepienchicken3811 no, full offense. i dont know how the hell someone hits dislike on this video. probably some loser who saw jake talking at the beginning and didn't stick around for the rest
I was in his live concert in Finland. All of the audience stood up at the end clapping their hands.. this guy really has a talent from above!! WOW !! His music is amazing great!!
so inspiring dude thats amazing. one day at my church camp i just felt gods presence in the room and i just asked him what he wanted me to do with my life because i had been struggling with that question because i was fighting over 3 things. so after i asked i just felt himi saying "the drums" and i had noticed that i was pretty good at drums (believe me the last thing im trying to do is brag) so i know how it feels. its amazing.
dude...thank you. your i know this might sound gay and all but thank you, your story really inspired me to keep playing and learn more and more. sorry about your mother ill be sure to pray for her even though this vid was posted 1 year ago. god bless u man and have a good life. aloha man p.s. im from hawaii!! and jake came to my high school and it was cool
That's an incredible story. Yea, no doubt you were supposed to learn the ukulele. It's one of God's tender mercies when things are revealed like that. Were the tabs online? Where did you learn this song?
WOW. What an awesome story! This is a witness and testimony to many people. I'm sure it was God, He works in the most awesome ways. Music is such a powerful thing and the ukulele, as Jake says, is such a humble instrument. Yet it can prove to be so powerful in so many ways. Many of Jake's songs get me teary-eyed just cause they're so beautiful and moving. I also have a Kamaka, but a concert. Someday when I can afford it, I really want a tenor!
that story left me speecless...but all i can say is...keep up with the ukulele and never 4get it..its more then a music creator...it creates happiness
Sorry to hear about your mother's passing! I'm sure god has blessed you and your family! I just started the ukulele as well! About a year ago! I love it! This song has so much deep meaning when you listen to it! Your story is heart warming and inspirational! Take care and God Bless! Keep jammin the uke! :) :) :) :)

Probably the most beautiful song I've heard on the ukulele, especially knowing the story behind it.
