The eye is there as the watching eye, representing the N.W.O. and what the world has come to, as he sings "dont wanna live in an adidas world" which means he doesn't want to live in a world run by multi billion dollar companies. (the eye representing what he doesn't want, it's used as anti-symbology)

@Squeegee33 we'd consider that A.D.I.D.A.S. was an acronym for "All Day i Dream About Sex" too, from a song of a great band in his time called Korn. And even though sex is a natural biologically feeling, I think today over exposition creates (or manipulate) unbalanced perception and feels in our minds...

Great riff, isn't it? I listened to the album for the first time in _years_ last week, and only then did it really come together for me. Edwyn's flair for going against the grain ("Not Following You") extends right into the follow-up for Gorgeous George being, of all things, a seventies concept album. So many levels.

Could someone explain the masonic imagery to me, though? I don't think I quite get that bit.

Umm... could just be meant to go with the general anti-corporate mood of the song. The irony is that symbol isn't actually masonic, masons use it but it's got a much wider history, sort of like the schwastika pre-dates the nazis.
