Well, that made me cry and think at the same time. I, who feel so sorry for myself if I don't have enough to go to the theatre....but then see these kids, all handicapped....and smiling and singing. Happily. Put me in my place, immediately.
I'm a fan of thai commercials. And I'm proud to be at least an Asian, tho I'm a filipino. I wonder why Filipinos can't make such commercials. Kudos thai!
Very nice video but please remember you are posting this for awareness so when labeling the video please put "children that have various disabilities from Thailand." See the person first not the disability =)
How could 13 people dislike this? I want to take every one of these children home and love them forever........Buddha bless all of them and their families and all people of Thailand.
12 people r sooo fuking heartless seriously whats wrong would you people man you should grow a heart n bak the fuk away 4rm dis channel if u dnt like den dnt bother dislikein it... move on to ur fake world or wake up 2 the real world.
Absolutely precious! The joy of these beautiful children and the pride of their beautiful mothers is so touching. I can watch this again and again. This reminds me of what is good and true and lovely in this world. Thank you to the person who posted this to Youtube. :)
Whatever will be will be means many things, but the root meaning implies we have no control of the future and our lives our predestined. Do you think revolutionists, inventors, or any elite level citizen believes in Fate? destiny without control? no. its a mechanism used to keep people from rising against their owners.
I fail to see how a song written in 1956 has anything to with "people rising against their owners" Agreed racism was rampant then and still is. However, to say that this song was used to keep slaves under control is untrue
what i mean is simple. people (christians mostly) believe in fate, and destiny. Your life is determined by your work, your intelligence and your ability to always move forward. Que Sera Sera is a ode to acceptance of imperfection which i disagree with. you can have Whatever you want, but you must work and better yourself and those around you to truly embrace greatness. i dont believe in fate, and i refuse to think i am going to live a pre-determined life.
Yes, some of them actually accept/belive in Fate. As their guide, they look around and see circumstances that affect them in such way, that they want to improve things (for example). Many religious traditions pinpoint that there is a 'destiny', a kind of plan-in-action and we, as individuals partake with our role in the realization of this plan. And many great figures/revolutionaries thought that they must do so in so, that they are destined to do so.
Children with severe disabilities, and their parents, can be unhappy about their life situation... wondering why them, why are they saddled with this disability when other families are not. It's easy to have moments of blame, anger, sadness and frustration. In this context, the song's message is: It doesn't matter why this disability struck you, that's just life, now get on making the best of your life.
The insurance is for child health care and not about donations (why so angry shakedads?) . In a country where the majority of people live below the poverty level, it is a popular form of insurance and does cover against disability.
It is a beautiful ad and the message carries a high impact. Unfortunately some people are unable to process a message quite so cerebral.
health care for Thailand, "The children in this video are from a special school called Srisangwan School. It is a school for disabled children and is a project of the Princess Mothers Volunteer Foundation."
The children don't know any better. It's the parents who are hurting knowing that their kids could have had a better life. Our compassion goes out to them. I do know that healing is in Jesus Christ for I've witnessed and experienced healing myself. It is God's will for all of us to be free. It is Satan's will for us to suffer. God bless.
Hmmm... then also if God is responsible for everything and creates everything as you Christians believe, then why would he allow children to be born with defects? Stop contradicting yourself, and stop living in the medieval age.
I understand the message of how life is precious not matter your physical or mental state, but the pregnant woman's reaction is weird. First they are all smiles and then they look real sad, as if they all-of-the-sudden realize that their child could possibly be born disabled too.
its a school for disabled children the song is about a mother telling her child whatever will be will be Que Sera Sera... The message is clear... and Powerful
Phew! I was watching this on a different site and didn't read the description. I was afraid it was going to make a joke of it or something. This is very nice.
While a lot of people would try to argue (not sure why), but these children each have conditions that place a harness on their lives. Whether it's the inability to walk, or the inability to speak.
To see these children, with such difficulties, being so happy to sing.. Well, that just makes my day.
They say smiles are contagious, and this is absolutely spot on. While I don't have a belief in a god, I do hope these kids get everything they can ask for in life.
So heart warming. I went to the thailand site and now I know this is an ad for health insurance. Excellent video compared to most of the junk on YouTube.
Well done Thai insurance Company and their advertising agency. Fantastic advert focusing on the work of the Thai royal family and a great need in Thailand. Congratulations to all the parents and kids in overcoming the challenges they face.

Youtube is NOT the place for religious discussion... It's too impersonal, which in turn leads to jackass bravado.
I would make a comment, but that would make me a hypocrite, wouldn't it?
Anyways, this would not be as beautiful if the children were healthy and didn't need hope.
