ive got an rc engine powered boat, i found a scale working outboar engine, hooked it to the back (looks cool :P) and put an battery in the hull (since I dont want to waste the radio battery) connected it to a little switch, so if i push full backward on my controller the outboard activates :P
Ha ha yeah I brought a little Mini Rio to tow my V24 back to land when it stalls. Yet to try it out but it looks like it will cope looking at this vid..cheers.

Nicely done. My trick for doing this is an empty 500ml coke bottle tied to the back of the "tug" with around 10 feet of string.
I come up behind the stricken boat and do a sharp U turn around the bow and go back the way i came so the string goes under the keel of the stopped boat and the bottle causes it to get caught on its rudder so you can just tow it back to you.
Works every time but if your engine is not reliable, I would not go too far out as it can be tricky to see what is going on.
