What Grayson understands about the media, something Rubyslippersblog fails to grasp, is that their attention span is short, and if you want to say something that gets noticed, you have to drop in a showy soundbite or two. Grayson is, of course, one of the most substantive politicians out there, and staggeringly intelligent, which is why he plays the game like this.
