Whats up with Capcom and beta's, the Resident evil 4 beta looked really innovative and scary but it was scrapped. (Don't get me wrong RE4 was badass, but the beta still fascinates me!)

It's a real shame about both Dreamcast & RE:CV. DC was so ahead of its time, but I think it was too obscure and expensive for people to really get into. So with that, CV I feel is a very underrated RE game. By the time it got to PS2 it had been so long it seemed, and people were already dubbing it as dumb based purely on the Ashford Family, which I feel were some of the best characters out there. As for this video though, it's very interesting and thanks for posting it.

i agree this was my favorite resident evil game i got a dreamcast just for it and the ashfords in my opinion are the best villains in the series

I think the only thing they could of done better was maybe keep some of the dodge/roll moves from RE3; at least for Chris anyway, since he's a trained gunman and fighter. But hey, even Claire had some moves in the opening.

I thought her beta costume was horrible. It didn't even look like the original costume from the second game. The pink shorts were too long and made her butt look weird, and the vest wasn't the same. Different logo, obviously. Did she pick up a new one after giving the "Made In Heaven" one to Sherry? I'd read that in CV, she was in her original outfit because she was captured right after RE/BH2. And the more you were attacked, the more the outfit would rip =/ Don't know how true that is.
