Hard to imagine a better concert film. I was absolutely enthralled by this movie the minute I started watching it. It remains a favourite. And somehow it had to be San Francisco. . . .
I just saw this movie. And what got me wasn't the songs and stories as much as the interview of Robbie Robertson at the end. He was discussing how many of music's biggest and most influenial people died before their time due to the strains and tempetations of the road. The sadness in his beautiful brown eyes speaks volumes and can break your heart. It did mine. Great movie. God bless.
