  • I know that when they die, God will tell them to make a tour around heaven to bring joy to who suffers on Earth, God Bless them for the rest of the eternity.

  • Ozzy was by far better than Dio..im not disrespecting Dio, because he's a hell of a singer but Ozzy in Sabbath was just mind blowing

  • Bill Ward is by far one of the greatest rock drummers ever.

Nobody lays it down like him.

The man can also swing and jazz it up.

  • um? First part?

  • With Ozzy singing

  • dio + sabbath gave us heaven and hell, thats enough for me to call dio a gift to black sabbath and to the human race for the best song in the world

  • Wonderfull!

Black Sabbath, in the Ozzy's fase is the best band of all times!

    Congratulations!

  • This is off of "LIVE AT LAST" album..... an English album that was sold and produced by NEMS record company i think i can recall... Black sabbath not wanting this released for some reason ?

  • omg 6:47 is sooooo fuckin heavy!!

  • No band could ever compare to the original Sabbath line up. Toni FUCKING

     ROCKS!!!!

  • This really highlites the talent of everyone in the band. I know Ozzy isn't the greatest singer - but he was the perfect front man for Sabbath. But Butler, Iommi, and Ward are the driving force behind it - awesome musicians. I love how they switch to a jazz improv in pt 1.

Although I love Dio - it was a different era for Sabbath - but the original lineup is who I like most.

  • Do you have the rest of this show uploaded!?????

  • check it out..listen the suttle changes...

  • Ozzy did his time with Sabbath, and the first 6-7 yrs were awesome, but Tony, Bill and Geezer are Sabbath, and Ronnie's time was great. Heaven and Hell etc

  • iommi and butler connect paranormally which is their attraction (see interview of elevator on BS Story Vol1). Lyrics, riffs, rythyms, atmospheres are all in harmony. The Dio show (saw first tour) just didn't match up. All minds will 4ever envision Osbourne, Ward, Butler, Iommi. C# or gypsy tuning & R.Wagner will challenge the unsuspecting...

  • Vote up if you like Black Sabbath!

If you don't like Black Sabbath, FUCK YOU!!!!

  • sabbath without ozzy is like a hamburger without a bun it just doesn't work...

  • @pestopalooza sabbath did good songs wih dio and even with tony martinn too

  • Old Sabbath is my fuckin favourite. It's like a fuckin miracle, we should feel graced to hear perfection. No riff could compare to Iomi, no one can be Ozzy Osbourne, the drummer and bassiss are fuckin excellent.

They're the best musicians to me. Covers of their songs are like a slap on their face.

  • PS PEOPLE I MADE A DRUM VIDEO COMPILATION I TOTALLY NEED COMMENTS ON IT, check my profile the first vid is Greatest 60 Drum Songs of Rock n Roll 60-44

  • @spankysteez planet caravan done by pantera is fucking great. especially the vid on here its pretty trippy

  • Tony is the heaviest blues guitarist in the world!!

  • Sabbath at their prime!

Thanx for posting this. I used to have this LP and I've been missing it for over a decade.

  • sabbath with ozzy best band ever

  • Such a sikk jam!:) Iommi's riffs are so deep & heavy, Ozzy's vocals and lyrics, just kick ass!, and you gotta love Geezer's funky bass lines, and to top it off, you got Ward's crazy ass drumming! What a kick ass band!!!:) haha!

  • DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

    best jam ever

  • The beginnng is improve, @ 253 guess what its Supernaut off Vol. 4. Then the solo and rest of Wicked World slowed down from the original. Off the original Black Sabbath release though Ive seen later ones with Evil Woman Replacing it. This song however is directly off Live at Last. Released after Ozzy got the boot against their wishes by management, maybe Sharrons Dad,The rest off them must hate. First the dad rips em all off, then Sharron and Ozzy rip em off. Revenge so sweet for Ozzy!

  • Iommi's guitar was down tuned to comply with his severed fingers which made his work very distincrive for the time. Drop D

  • Ozzy: "What ya wanna hear?"

    Crowd: lkjsadrfiubewffds

  • Seeing this video has reminded me of your other video in asbury park where a guy in the crowd says "all drum solos are boring"!

  • Thanks for posting this,awesome!!

  • But ozzy without Ward & Geezer was not quite the same. His solo stuff is good, but the original Sabb rhythm section was just crazy good.

  • exaxtly victom!! Not everyone realizes this! Everyone just thinks of Ozzy and says "the Osbournes!" hhaha

    Red Castle Approves

  • does anyone have a tab for the intro ? i cant find it ! X[[

  • pretty good? lol experience all their albums man/boy hes one of the best. He invented so many beats like......mind blowing man/boy. and hell ya SABBATH FOREVER!!!Infact I'm wearing a sabbath bloody sabbath shirt as i type lol.

  • does anybody the that song Sabbath played at the begining ? is sooo catchy

is it just one of those song where they just did it at that one live performance?

  • Its called sometimes im happy, and it was played as a jam.

  • wicked world

  • One buddy of mine thinks Iommi has more skill than Page because since he lost both tips of his fingers in that sheet metal fabrication accident, he plays very fast on the left side and I think he was right handed? Iommi is probably the best guitarist alive!

  • i agree totally!

  • 3 best guitarist ever....(in no particular order)...Page, Iommi, Clapton

  • Iommi is the best guitarist that ever lived!

  • Go Tony Go!!!

  • Iommi is a heavty riff God. He used those caps at the ends of hi's fingers to give hi's guitar that heavy sound and it worked beautifully. Bill is a fucking drummers drummer.

  • he used the caps on his fingers because the tips got cut off it wasn't for sound....

  • sabbath isnt sabbath without geezer, bill, ozzy, and tony.

    dio is a fucking tool.

  • 11 albums say otherwise.

  • true.

i just dont like sabbath unless ozzy is with them.

    its just not the same

  • The "haunting" quality of Ozzy's voice is what makes the Black Sabbath band complete...without it, it is Black Sabbath in name only, not in sound.

  • I disagree, considering Black Sabbath has survived longer with Dio than it did with Ozz. not to downplay him, all i'm saying is that the TRUE landmark of a Sabbath song is the Iommi riff.

  • I agree with you as well. It's the guitar riffs that make the songs. Even Iommi's solo output has a certain Sabbathesque quality. I don't hear the Sabbath sound in Ozzy's solo work, so I really don't think it's his voice that makes it.

  • exactly. Rhandy roads is good and all, but even his Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley riffs, probably his most famous, can't hold a candle to Iommi.

  • I also agree, when I hear Iommi's guitar riffs they are sooooo signature and unique you know it's him immediately. There are a few guitar players from this era that you could hear 3 notes from them and you know it's them. Beck, Page, Clapton, Iommi, Gilmore, etc...

  • I have never heard heavier riffs come out of any guitarist to this day. Iommi has to be the greatest technical guitarist in the world.

  • I hope you guys now that geezer also wrote some riffs.

  • @c0nd0rd4myt Sabbath wasn't sabbath when They was with dio. They were a fake Sabbath, Geezer even said so himself. So they were better off with Oz. And I agree how ONE landmark would be the riffs, But the other was the OZZY vocals. Basically their were four outstanding Landmarks. Amazingly terrifying Riffs From Iommi , Shredding bass from Butler, Jazzy rollin' drums from Bill, And breath taking vocals from Oz.

  • @jackzabbaththeband dude check out live evil with dio singing all of ozzys old tunes. You will totaly change your mind about dio and ozzy.

  • @dreamsandnightmarez I've heard some of it, And I don't like it. I never did really 'like' Dio. I didn't 'like' the idea of him replacing Ozzy. Now, I like some Dio, And I like some Ronnie WITH Sabbath. And it is on verey rare occasion, that you see me listen to Sabbath after the Ozzy era. So, Yeah. That's just my taste in music. If I don't like Dio, No one will make me like Dio. I'm just musically stubborn like that.

  • @jackzabbaththeband Man Dio is Amazing! I agree I didn't really like the Dio years in Sabbath. They had a few good songs, like Heaven and Hell, but nothing like Original Sabbath with Ozzy. Dio had some excellent songs in his solo stuff and Rainbow. Not trying to force Dio down your throat or anything. Check these out: Rainbow in the Dark, Holy Diver, Evilution, Killing the Dragon, Man on the Silver Mountain.

Those songs changed my view on Dio, maybe they'll change yours. If not... oh well! lol

  • @RiceKiller191 I've listened to most of those songs. But still, Dio had a great solo career, and all- But he just doesn't belong in Sabbath. But Dio still rules, though. \m/

  • @jackzabbaththeband I agree, nothing is as good as the original Sabbath.

  • @blacksabfan I know this was a year ago, but, those 11 weren't really amazing like the ones put out with the original members.

  • @0987654321dta

True, although some were pretty good, and at least 1 was pretty amazing (Heaven and Hell). Not all of the first 8 were amazing. Just the first five or so. The last two they did with Ozzy, they are okay, but certainly not amazing.

  • @blacksabfan Sabotage is easily, front to back, one of the most mindblowing experiences of the 70s. Just listen to The Writ and Megalomania alone. Add in Hole In The Sky and Symptom of the Universe and you have yourself one of the 6 greatest rock/metal albums of all time. It's so good that Am I Insane, sort of original in its own right but out of place, can't bring it down.

  • @cma3585

I'd politely disagree. I could go into a long, detailed explanation why, but the fact you would say it's in a top 6 of all time list, when there's literally dozens of other bands that made at least one record better than Sabotage, sort of makes it kind of pointless.

  • @blacksabfan Sabotage is definitely in that list, with the other five greatest metal albums being the first five Black Sabbath albums.

  • @0987654321dta Nothing can compare to the original Sabbath line up.

  • @harriseugene Thats exactly what I was trying to say.

  • @0987654321dta Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Born Again, and Eternal Idol in my opinion are all amazing.

  • No one can top Ozzy as a front man, but Dio was still good.

  • you're right. Black Sabbath Blues Days ftw

  • Blues???

  • oh my god! Listen to the first album, mate.

  • @jmhendrix101 Oh really? I bet you regret that comment now that he's dead. Your one of the few insulting Dio on here. Most true Black Sabbath fans like Dio very much.

  • @jmhendrix101 I would love to punch you in the face.... but only to awaken you from your obvious state of delusion.

  • black sabbath!the most revolutionizing band at that time

  • Why have people voted me down on the C# tuning comment? IT IS IN C#!!!!!

  • Because people are retarded. I gave you +1. If it's not in C# for whatever reason, it's probably from tape degeneration...not from Iommi using a different tuning.

  • Thank you.

  • HOLY SHIT. Iommi is a God!

  • does anyone now the tuning to lazy to figure it out

  • It's in C# tuning.

  • Damn this is heavly tuned down. But i really love the groovy sometimes i'm happy part :D

  • that is the best part

  • @kiks290halmballe

All black sabbath is tuned down, way down.

  • @tercel1996 The first 2 albums were in standard tuning.

  • @tercel1996 yeah most is tuned down to C# Standard. The albums Back Sabbath and Paranoid however are in Standard tuning

  • This version of Supernaut was on the Past Lives cd right?

  • Yep.

  • Haha, knew it. Could tell from Ozzy's "Guess what!?" :P

  • Now kiss & make up,fellas.

  • You would like to see that, wouldn't you? J/K. ;)

  • Only if they're female. That would be great to watch.

  • This is kickin', nice to hear all the old stuff.

  • Black Sabbath~ Yahudi64 Is a big fan. To heel with Dio. Ozzy will always be #1 B.S. singer~!!!

  • So, are you going to attempt to kick Dio using your heel? That might be a little awkward, don't you think? Kidding aside, I enjoy most of the "era's" of Sabbath. Mostly the Ozzy, Dio and Gillan years.

  • Not trying to be mean, but were there any other "eras"?

  • Can't forget Dio, Gillan, or Martin(although, my least favorite.) Those are probably the most mentioned among Sabbath fans although there were others. That said, to each their own I suppose.

  • Ok, i honestly didn't know there were others besides Ozzy, Dio, and the guy from Deep Purple.

  • There was plenty more too. In fact, Sabbath had 22 different lineup changes(Yes, JUST lineup changes alone) throughout their history with Tony Iommi being the stalwart, of course.

  • Yes redbirdfan126 said you put the ultimate wicked world version on, and I must say it rocks like hell! Gratz

  • Dude, Dio Sabbath kicks major ass too.

Thanks a lot for posting this BlackSabFan as well.

  • amen bro!
