@agencyman1 I respect your beleives, but i do not listen to any religion, we are better of without it! No i think jesus may have been an alien in human form who was maybe part of a peacfull alien race who saw us as the filthy animals we are and wanted to help us become more peacfull which didnt work unfortuntely if you think about jesus ressurection no godly powers did it! and advanced race might have the technology to bring back life to the dead by reforming bodly cells.
@agencyman1 sorry mate thats a load of bullshit jesus was just a kind man not a son of god maybe an alien but he was no son of an invisible fake entity.
@ilovetwilightsagaify lol where watching it in christian studies at school and id make everyone laugh bout everything but for that everyone just cracked up laughing so bad.
He's supposed to be not an allegory of Christ, but what Lewis imagined Christ would be if he were to exist in some mythical world. So, just as Christians believe Christ was the Son of God, yet mortal and died, and was resurrected, I guess the same goes for Aslan.
@Alpstarr50 Mortal by choice. He died for Edmund's treachery. In reality, Aslan is an allegory for God, who died for every mortal's sins. You can accept his gift of eternal life by believing that he died for your sins today and be forgiven for all sins! However, you will not be forced to believe. No one will push you into it. Feel free to ask questions!
@Magcng don't you think this sounds stupid? if god did creat men nd world, then how can he be mortal? god is not born nor dead. and he is definitely not an animal. and he will definitely not die for mortal's sins. this world is just a test... so you can decide wich one will be your eternal life. heaven or hell. why should the creater of all, come here to take our sins? is it that easy to go to heaven? this way no one in heaven would have earned it. bullshit...
@Alpstarr50 In reality, God is three in one. He is God the Father, The Holy Spirit, and God the Son [Jesus Christ]. Christ was mortal, and he died for our sins because he loves us. No one has to EARN anything to go to heaven. In fact, we have all sinned and so deserve death. He was merciful and died for us so that we have a chance. Yes, it is that easy to believe and be saved.
:55 makes me laugh every time. when Susan turns to look, her bow looks like it hits lucy in the head. Right when it does that, there's an isolated stone crumbling sound that for the longest time I thought was the sound of the bow hitting Lucy's head. I still can't believe no one caught that and changed the timing. Hilarious.
My favorite scene from Narnia would be after Aslan is killed when they are at the table with him at night and the mice break the rope and they take the rope of his nose that part is the best I like!!!!
@SpartanChic117 Consider it, though; my God is allegorically represented by Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia. He is the Great Lion, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, had the power to resurrect because he is blameless, is love, is just and kind, and offers salvation and eternal life merely for belief that he died for every sinner, including myself. Aslan, in the movie, is only a hinting at what God truly is. God himself is more. Think about it, and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I agree with HellBoyDestiny, this is certainly about Christ consciousness. I believe the author of Narnia, C.S. Lewis, not only intented to describe the resurrection of the Christ but also a spiritual ascension on an even wider level including esoteric knowledge. There are books about this, one of them called "Esoteric Astrology" by Alice B.Bailey, which can blow your mind away :). So Aslan, the Leo, is also about the freedom of the individual self connecting with the new age of Aquarius.
Just to make everyone know,CS Lewis was a dear friend of JRR Tolkien, and Tolkien was the one that made him Christian,so the tales of Lewis always hide a religious side. But fantasy is the first thing that someone can appreciate of Lewis:he was a great writter, and he died reaching his objectives.
Christianism isn't esoteric, but exoteric. Everyone can understand the Bible message. Even John the apostle fights gnosticism in his letters. 'New Age' isn't new : it's the old message of the serpent ('You'll be like Gods'). You got to choose between esoteric knowledge and spiritual Revelation. CS Lewis chost : he became a christian. Of course, you can imagine all you want in his books ! You can read it as a fairy tale or like a kind of parable about Jesus Christ.

How can you tell CS Lewis was into esoteric matters? In his time very few dared speaking out the truth behind symbolism as most biblical tales is
not literally told but symbolically. Each
and everyone of us interpret these symbols in whatever way we can,
hopefully to expand our consciousness.
Anyway I feel CS Lewis is a master in
letting mind and heart join forces to
expand what we believe is the only truth and the only way to live. Lewis' character Aslan is one of these soul warriors.
