Id like to know what they do with the string once they attach all the moss. Does it degrade over time? Do they trim it very carefully once the moss has taken hold of the driftwood? Ive been using fishing line for my tank, however I still notice it and it drive me nuts.

@jgrimmier some plants they use fishing line which wont degrade however if they use thread it will simply degrade
