  • I havent seen that dashboard since fucking NAM!

  • take some oral communications classes

  • Fucking Nerfherder, 240p for a quality comparison , lick my lovepump!

  • How can anyone see the difference when you recorded this shit in 240p you fucking idiot?

  • the xbox does not actually run in 1080p Most of the games if not all of them are 720p. But what the xbox does what is called upscalling This is when you take a 720p and change to 1080p but all that does is just put more pixels on the screen it does not change the graphics. Its 720p but your seeing just basically better colors it just fills in the image with more pixels. hope I explained it correct its kinda hard to explain. xbox could not handle a game like crysis 2 in full 1080p and run smooth

  • @spicey22 the 360 slim model changed this, the release xbox 360 (the first gen) ya that is true.

  • Yeah, thanks to your sucky webcam or phonecam I can see the difference

  • I have an Xbox 360 setup with a HD-Component cable. How much of a difference is it between HD Component and HDMI? Alas, my Xbox 360 doesn't have the HDMI port(I bought it RIGHT BEFORE they upgraded the system with HDMI, which SUCKS!). Is it really worth dropping $250? Or should I just wait until my 360 craps out to buy a new one? On another note, I miss the old dashboard that's in this video. I wish Micro$oft would of least kept a feature where you can switch between dashboards.

  • so will HDMI work on my xbox 360 if i have 1 fat 32" tV?will it make my resolution better?

  • retard componet does 720p sometimes 1080i

  • you need a hd camera to justify this podcast...can't see any difference.

  • really? i mean do u still use that old dashboard and not the nxe? well that's dum

  • @booringification Have you not seen the upload date?

  • im goin to buy an xbox 360 slim with lt+ should i get an hdmi cable my tv is full hd 1080p it gives alot of diffrance????

  • @TheGal9989 yes u should buy HDMI its the best had really good picture.

  • @ajhgfhgjbjhbjhb

yah i already bought it but do u know how to check the dvd drives firmware for slim

  • @TheGal9989 Na I dont know how to do that.

  • Man, now looking back I see how shitty the old xbox experience was.

  • Component looks better on my own TV

  • Someone PLEASE answer I bought monster game component video stereo and audio cables and it came with two blue cables but i only have one blue on my hd tv so where do i put the other one?

  • The only different i see on THIS video is the word: Standard, added below the Widescreen with the HDMI cable on settings menu.

  • oye se ve padre cn el hdmi xbox de colores o el otro??

esk me venden el hdmi de colores a 316

  • Whats component...is it the A/V JACKS???

  • @Marionet64 AV cables

  • Are u CRAZY of course HDMI

  • u a crazy asian

  • pelo jeitão do retardado falar parece msm que é um destes manos q falam niga

    huahauauhauhahu

  • @pspdaxter it will i had components then hdmi 4 ps3. But now i have xbix

  • i have a 46 inch 1080p tv i use my ps3 with composite cables and it look great but if i buy hdmi will it make noticeable difference

  • What's gween and ret?

    New color spectrum, I'm assuming?

  • Man, I have a LG 42 inch full HD, but both HDMI ports are already used for my HD receiver and blu-ray player...

  • @Soap1O So, whats ur point ?

  • @0omsao0 It's obvious, I can't plug all my divices in my tv with HDMI outputs

  • @SpecialPsP search for "hdmi vs component" you'll find tons of reading and a few videos of the differences...

  • I've always used component on my xbox360 to display 1080p because you have the two audio cables which can be plugged into a dolby digital sound system.

The main difference with hdmi is the colours are a lot more vibrant and a slightly faster refresh rate. Whereas with component you you get a higher contrast and brightness levels.

You need to try both and see which one's best for the the type of television your using and the types of games you play..

  • whats the difference between normal component vs HDMI pls answer that is have a better graphics?

  • guys i try with hdmi and i have no sound((((

  • @maxxximenko

go to your xbox settings -> display -> and just change the quality to 480p, then back to 1080p or whatever you are using.

the sounds lower itselfs with hdmi, and if that doesnt work, your hdmi cable doesnt work on your xbox

  • im thinking of buying either hd cables or hdmi for my 360 now will it make a difference? i have a 720 hdtv and i wanna know because gamestop has the hd for 20 bucks and the hdmi for 30 help please

  • i need help. my tv is 720p at least, i'm not sure if its 1080i. i am using the cables that came with the xbox and set the switch to hd..but the quality is only 480p. is that normal? or am i supposed to get hdmi for hd quality? thanks

  • @wonderwall135 i also have no hdmi cable and i use the componet cable for 1080p?!

  • OLD 360 DASHBOARD RULES

  • HDMI

  • wow i actually prefer the old 360 dashboard!

  • How come no of these fucking videos are captured?

  • HDMi FTW

  • lol fag u dont have live

  • u got rip off

  • h..d..MIcable!

  • i got hdmi with my xbox 360 elite and its amazing but do i get better picture or quality if i use the component cables??

    plz help!

  • @germansold21 No, there isn't much difference in video quality but only a few pixels. What makes the difference is the true color and digital audio (vs component RCA audio 'Red and white cables'). Don't bother with component, stick to hdmi all the way.

  • this is what i did i got an HDMI and a Xbox 360 component cable and i plugged them together into my xbox and my tv and the graphics are amazing it fixes the coloring font and blury ness

  • u don't play LIVE huh?

  • hdmi is only like half a percent better, not worth buying a 60 cable for it

  • Wow LG 50' fuck you!!

  • No Difference at all

  • @ratmandall no they don't it depends on if you have a full HD tv and the HDMI does better picture anyway

  • this guy needs to update his xbox

  • HDMI is BEAST

i bought it today and its so much difference i strongly suggest you'd get one its like 25 euro

  • funny how the component on my tv was better than hdmi

  • my tv supports 1080p but still im using 720p find it crispier .. didnt test on many games just forza 3 and gta 4 .. was better on 720p ... my 360 doesnt have hdmi (still from launch).

i dont see the real differences only on 1080p .. i find that i see some pixels .. not sure though .. have a Samsung SyncMaster 2333 HD ..

should i buy a new 360 with hdmi output ?

    please help

  • @stelispav ps3 sucks dick

  • @rapidkid28 What

  • @stelispav no it's not..

  • @stelispav ps3's are way better, i baught one and i love it

  • @drumaddict26

    Opinions

  • @tanbe174 componet only supports 1080i not p, and hdmi usually self adjusts te colors and such componet doesnt my gateway hd 22" looks better in hdmi because of the self adjusting colors

  • @diamelo my tv is about 7months

  • i have a 720p rca 32" i cant tell a difference between hdmi and component

  • what would it look like if i connect the HDMI and no AV cable? because my AV cable wont fit and my HDMI cable will

  • console to component to digital tv does two digital to analog conversions and does result in quality loss

  • Comment removed

  • Can anyone answer this question for me? I have a 32" 720p hdtv. I am running composite and I am thinking about buying an hdmi cable for my xbox 360. Will this make a difference or would I have to own a 108p hdtv for it to look any better?

  • it will make difference but is better to get a full hdtv

  • Hi as I said before I was using my 720p. I just got a full hdtv and I am currently using vga. Do you think it will make a difference to use hdmi now that i have a monitor capable of 1080p?

  • @stelispav I bought a full hd (1080p) TV yesterday :D:D:D:D:D:D with a HDMI cable

  • @stelispav what if i have a full hdtv (32"- 1080i 180) but no hdmi, no nothing... should i buy a hdmi cable?

  • @i1337G33k i think u should

  • @i1337G33k yeah get the HDMI its so much better. trust me. i saw a difference.

  • well my xbox came with one and im using another one that i bought for my ps3 and some other exstra one for the ps3 well there not a differince but if you want to there some like 20 dollers so yeah

  • w/e subzero

  • @heavymetalpunkrock Im pretty sure your settings will improve a little bit but unfortunatly to get 1080p u need a tv capable of :/

  • My TV is 720p and it looks MUCH better with component than HDMI... the HDMI looks kind of pixelated unless I change to a resolution that stretches off the screen. So I cant get a quality signal with HDMI, I have messed with ALL settings on the xbox and my tv... it sucks but yea component looks great for now, but I would like to get the issue resolved.

  • @heavymetalpunkrock no it shouldnt because componet supports 1080i but not full 1080p (not noticeble difference)

  • @heavymetalpunkrock) stelispavs right it will make a difference but u dont have to buy a full 1080 tv tho if u go to ur settings on ur x box u can set it for 720p (but 1080 is the best suggested)

  • @heavymetalpunkrock Now, the HDMI cable gives you 1080i (interlace) And the component gives you 1080p (Progressive) or any thing. See, interlace is what you do not want, progressive it is you want.!

  • @heavymetalpunkrock i have a 32" HD Ready (not full HD, it doesnt run at 1080i, just 1080p) and it is way different. I dont like playing with the composite eny more lol

  • @heavymetalpunkrock Composite!?!?

    GET HDMI MOTHERFUCKERR!!!

  • @heavymetalpunkrock It won't make much of a visual difference, but the sound will definitely be better. Besides, you don't necessarily need 1080p in a 32" screen, even though I do :P

  • @heavymetalpunkrock yea,I have a 42", on my living room(the only one xDD)and i play on 1080p.Trust me is really awesome!!

  • HDMI FTW

  • I have an xbox 360 and an HD ready tv from lg and on the back it's stands 1080p logo and it's a new one but I can't get 1080p with my component can I have it with an hdmi

  • Component is 720p

  • No, no, no! Component can also do 1080p.

  • you can get 1080p through component just not on all hdtv's most of the newer models of lg hdtv's do support 1080p through component

  • my tv has 420 720 1080 i and p

  • actually 1080i is old, standard hd broadcast is 1080p now so if ur tv will only do 1080i itts crappy, new full hd tvs can produce 720p, 1080i, and 1080p you can switch to what u want, look i up

  • is he tryin to sing in the begining?!?!..

  • do you have an xbox 360?

  • well so far the problem i found was the 1080p option when your using component. its not possible unless your tv is crappy. the highest resolution you can get is 1080i but its the HDMI is what should be giving you full digital 1080p.

  • wassup Borat!

  • Conclusion: Use HDMI if you have an Xbox 360 and the cable, or else just use the component cable. It doesn't matter.

  • Comment removed

  • they both look good dont matter

  • u cant realy tell on a utube vid! lol the quality will be set to what the camera can handle...

  • im totaly new on hdmi and HDTV stuff, i actually got my brothers 40 something inch cuz he had to move to korea, but i bought a hdmi cable for the xbox, its still on its way here but how am i to get sound with hdmi? do i just use the hdmi cable and the blue/green/red cables the xbox came with at the same time?

  • HDMI sends audio signals along with the video signals. So just connect it with the HDMI.

  • wooow what a TV !!

  • nice video, i like your tv

  • the quality also depends on what tv you have..

  • agree

  • i have just download the new dashboard.i am really excited

  • Lol you still have the old dashboard?

  • component is better if you don't want to waste your money on a hdmi cable

  • 7,8 bucks isn't that much for a good quality hdmi cable

  • LG 50 INCHES

  • @stelispav wow man we dont wanna know your size lol XD

  • then you couldn;t see hdmi port

  • what tv are you using.....and what size is it???

  • u should have turned the lights on
