  • What does this have to do with C3PO?

  • I like this (geddit?)

You have to be the difference that you want to make in the world, keep it up

  • when i told my mom, i was crying cause i thought she was going to hate me.. and she just said " i know, i made a bet with ur dad and aunt about how long it would take you to know"

  • Damn, I thought you were a guy until I heard your voice and I was scratching my head thinking, this kid has a very feminine voice lol talk about C-3PO having a strange voice hahahahaa. Not hating on you, I am just saying.

  • So I heard the title on Will and Grace and flipped out.... haha.

  • That's really crappy that you have to deal with people staring at you and making comments. I'm sure we've all experienced unwanted attention when we are with a girl, but that you have to experience that sort of discrimination every day is really sad. I'm sorry to hear you have to deal with that so often. :(

Man, some people are like, morons! Sorry - I had to like, put a 'like' in there somewhere! ;) Love ya!

  • you are AWESOME! thats all i have to say.

  • Like.. Like.. Like.. Like.. Like.. Like.. Lol.

  • hehe, its a really cute vid, i have to catch up on the BB's older videos...

  • pretty boys. hell yea! free condoms...oh not to be mean, but from my thoughts, no one cared because they were relived...

  • No shit

  • i feel you on the super easy my mom knew before i did. She told me thats why she lived in hillcrest when i was kid so she could better understand me when i was older

  • i am laughing so hard...hahahahhaa

"if i say like one more time..."

  • so you never checked out chicks like be4 the whole 30 year oldchick?

  • noone cares about the closet. get to the point

just kidding...seriously what about C3p0...my rommate told me he had a boner on set.

  • Haha, I clicked on your video because the title caught my eye. Good video.

  • Hello from Spain,

    thanks for sharing!!!!! :)

I think it is equally difficult for femenine or masculine girls, because of the people. They treat you differently from the rest. If you somehow look feminine and don't have a boyfriend they look for a boyfriend for you without asking!!! :S I'm half way between masculine and feminine anyway.

    funny the title about C-3PO

  • stfu

  • I counted 105 "like"s. Is that like a west coast like thing...like. Love ya AJ. You never cease to entertain with the cuteness (it a butch sort of way of course). Ha! Ha!.

  • you are so caca, TONY...the exboyfriend mentioned in this video--- you're so stupid! I'm never showing you my videos again!! THUMBS DOWN, LMAO.

  • "... Or they think I'm a hot guy." Way to be modest there, AJ, lol. JK, you ARE hot. Please please take some video of you and Jess frolicking at San Diego pride!

  • that would be up to Jess since I didnt make it. I suck. But from what Jess told me she had fun minus me...

  • lol i come out EVERYDAY too!!! either that or i get looked at like im a little boy. hahaha. i know how you feel.

  • OMG! I met my first GF on IRC! (And we're still good friends, almost 14 years later!)Love you for mentioning that, AJ. Thanks for sharing your story with us, too. I can relate to a lot of what you said at the end.. glad I'm not the only one. I love the way you are so don't ever change! Peace. -J.

  • I was kinda forced out of the closet. I didnt want to come out to my mom until after I turned 18 but she saw me and another girl holding hands. Living with my mom has been Hell ever since. I think both butches and femmes have it equally hard. I am some where in between butch and femme. I hate it most when guys say,"You havent found the right guy" or "How do you know if you've never tried it."

  • Fem lesbians have it harder because we never get noticed by other lesbian women!

  • is that so bad?

  • Yes it is because I am a professional lesbian that enjoys feminine clothes...love shoes, make up, all sort of girly stuff and am still single. I never get noticed by other gay women and that is so frustating. I don't go out much because I am working all the time... That's bad!

  • It's cool that you dress how you want and not let people change you. Being femme isn't so great either. Dudes hit on me. Eww.

Oh yeah, that condom story was priceless. XD

  • yeah that story was kind of crazy, but you cant make that stuff up!

  • Haha I'm loving the Christmas music in the background. It'll be here before we know it! =]

P.S. I know what you mean by the stares and the coming-out-ness every time ppl see you. Sometimes I wish I could be more feminine, but that's just not me, so I have to be true to myself. And so do you! =]

  • "Ok whatever, you wanna go get dinner?" ROFL!

I totally get what you mean about the staring thing. Except I had never noticed it before until my friend pointed it out to me and I began to watch out of the corner of my eye and saw so many people looking at me and cocking heads/eyebrows and whispering to whomever was beside them or full on nasty looks. Sure it sucked but I don't give a fuck. That's MORE than made up for when I notice the hot girl giving me the up and down and smiling. ;-)

  • Condom coupons priceless! I do agreed femmes do have it a little easier when they walk out the door but I feel in the Lesbian community they have it harder.

  • my family is hispanic (think Carmen's family on the L word, i'm not telling them (extended family) I'll let them figure it out

  • AJ, you're such a damn cutie...

  • oh stopppp!

  • Noooooooooo you have to be at pride on Sunday, that's my day, dang it!! You and your saturdays, lol!

  • what do you mean "_remember_ irc"? I'm on irc every day. I feel old now :(

  • this year was a coming out in away. i brought my gf (now ex-bitch was nuts) to my gmas house and we didnt touch or anything but she was mega butch and then later in the night my gma called and told me "if youre gay dont tell me, spare me that" so i knew that she knew she just didnt want to hear it. my mom new and was really cool but my cousins are still getting used to it but cool and my aunt is ok - sorta she just says "i love you but dont forget the god" so as for me im half in and half out

  • like yeah

  • HAHAHAHAH! :']

    that was actually hilarious :'D

    and the tags :'] lmao

    AJ YR THE BEST :D

omg I get the dyke thing :| lol

HAHAHA@ the femme hot lover :'D

  • oh stop, you flatter me every week!

  • HAHA :'] like thats a bad thing. lol

  • I wonder if any of you get that one stupid question from guys: "Why are you gay?" Right now I am working as a topless dancer.... yeah.... and I get to break it o creepy old men just about every night. I get that stupid question all the time. Have you gotten that question before? have any of the other girls?

  • merrroooowp meerrrooowwp

  • i'm glad it's actually a sound that can be spelled...

  • coolest coming out story i've ever heard!

  • Hey AJ, thanks for warning me about the volume, I was ready to turn it down at certain points. Great vlog - as usual. X

  • are you playing deck the halls in the background?

  • i am. i'm doing christmas in july. my last weeks video had christmas music too....

  • I agree with you about being stared at and called dyke all the time and yes like u everybody knew i was so it was like im gay ok pass the chicken leg...lol not really like that but might aswell have been like that

  • You should have shown us the back of your haircut.

I'm kind of tomboyish so my look varies but when guys figure out I'm a lesbian (which depends on what I'm wearing) they can get physically hostile. So, I have nothing but mad respect for Butch's because I know it's not easy to walk in the world as a Butch.

  • I used to chat on AOL in the mid 90's. No girl/girl action but I remember the days. I realte to your story a lot because I was never in in the closet. I live in a really liberal area and have never had to worry about being harrassed for being gay. I am not as butch as you, AJ, not as femme as Tina or Michelle so I guess I manage to pass for straight. I'm out at work which is really nice. Are all the Beavers out at work?

  • I remember IRC! There's still a few out there for the uber-nerds to live in. =P

  • that is awesome! i would chat on #dalnet - i think that's the geek symbol for it. i forgot, it was like 56 years ago.

  • Meow :)

  • I really love how diverse this group is.

All of you are incredibly charming, also.

  • cool story....totally can relate on the coming out all the time bit.

    LaterZ,

    Lydia

  • Yeah, so I see what friends of mine go through on a regular basis as a butch, and I can imagine it ishard. My girlfriend is in the army and keeps her hair short and everything, and gets called sir all the time which pisses her off and me too, because while she has short hair, she's really quite feminine. However as a femme, I have to say it sucks because I am constantly having to convincing men that I don't want their penis'. Oh, and the kicker, as a femme, I'm apparently just in a phase.

  • are you serious your mom bought you condoms with a coupon?? LMAO!!! Way to go AJ - you're amazing!

  • Oh, holy shit. I totally get people yelling 'dyke' at me! Oh, do you get rednecks in nasty dirty trucks throwing cans/bottles/other at you? Kinda sucks. I agree, though. Femmes have it easier.

Bout the coming out to your mum thing, my mum did nearly the same thing. I was like, 'mum, I dig chicks.' And she goes, 'Are you sure?' and I go, 'Um, pretty much, yeah.' So she says, 'Okay.'

  • I don't think you could make a bad video. It's just too funny.

There is this show called Peter Perfect and he always says, "I'm not gay, I'm English!" and it always cracks me and my gf up. Then she says, "I'm not Engligh, I'm GAY!" Hmm...maybe that's funny only to us...

  • never seen the show maybe - i can find a clip on youtube.

  • thank you for the story- i admire you and you rock!

    Jill

  • and I admire you too for watching this bad, bad video.

  • hey i wish i got comments like "dyke!", its better than being hit on by perverted dudes and having to verbally come out to random people every week.

if i told my mom, she'd shoot me in the head. its depressing...

    1. shes a homophobe

    2. my mom is asian

    3. my mom is asian

    4. can you just guess what this is gunna say?

  • Or getting hit on and then having the guys run off when they realize you're trans...though that makes it easier for me then because I don't have to be the one making the escape. lol

  • that she likes the beaver bunch too? ;)

  • When you are recording you can turn off your monitor. It will get rid of the glare.

  • its actually my bedroom windows.

  • Small redneck town?? You have no idea AJ!

    I still love you tho!

  • I hope you have a fantastic time at Pride with Jess!!!

  • thank you! we will have fun for all of you who wont be there!

  • yea my mom was totally cool about it too...my family accepts me and is so proud....However is wasnt that easy at first but once i came out is was so easy to tell people who didnt know...

  • ya family is always the hardest.

  • I totally know what you are talking about and agree. When you say that you come out ever day. I was so excited that I had finally come out to everybody and then I started dressing more butch and ...

Just about everywhere I go people turn and look and watch me pass, talk about me, and it never fails that little kids stare.

I never thought that I would have to come out everyday.

But I am glad to hear somebody else express those feelings.

    Thanks.

    Have a great day :]

  • thanks for watching this train wreck of a video...have a good week too!

    AJ

  • I think the grass is always greener on the other side. My gf is femme and she feels invisible. But I'm with you better than being called names on the street, etc. And I live in a small city in the Bible Belt so you can imagine I'm sure lol.

  • AJ!!!!!! OMG... You are so right... so right... completely true.

I say the same thing to my femme friends about how I come out everyday ... it's a daily process and how people are always staring . Right on the money.

but then my femme-feminist friends always batter me with how I have butch privilege. :-/

    thanks for the vid!

  • what privilege? someone tell me what that means!

  • It's this idea that butch womyn have this privilege because they present themselves as "manly" or "one of the guys." So men usually speak to them in a different tone... kind of like with more respect so to speak. And also that butch womyn are less sexually harassed because they tend to look more "manly." Don't ask me. This is just what I've been told. An ex went bananas at me over this conversation.

  • Oh AJ Your amazing.

Don't worry I say 'like' a lot too but we are from the same area so that would make sense lol.

  • ok good i feel a lot better.

  • i'm pretty in the middle, appearance/mannerism-wise... (passing for straight 4x out of 10... until i open my mouth?)

and i still get 'are you a boy?' from kiddies under the age of about 10, despite that my hair is really long. and that's the most amusing thing ever sometimes... except for this one about 8yr old who was, like, 'are you a dyke?' which was just depressing.

  • that's totally my life too.

  • no way, that's amazing! I would be so happy if some little boy asked me if I was a dyke!

And Spooky is the name of the protagonist of a music video I just made. just sayin'.

  • :-)

well... i wore a coat and tie to my elementary school observation last fall... and the kid was in the violin class and his teacher sent him to the counselor because he was on an IEP for who knows what. (I'm guessing some sort of emotional problem, because he was not physically disabled... but I'm no doctor)

btw, my user name comes from my huge addiction to the x-files.

ps: i'd so like to see your video lol :-)

  • haha, you gender deviant!

Hey go on my channel if you wanna see it, I warn you though, it's incredibly sad.

  • My coming out was like a lifetime movie. hahah

Sometimes I see hot butch girls that really turn out being cute young boys... and then it's awkward because I'm staring at them.

  • i kinda wish i had drama of a lifetime movie but i guess sometimes you get lucky.

    XO

    AJ
