Newest in terms of the FF franchise would be Final Fantasy: The Four Hero's of Light for the DS, but in the main series, it would be Final Fantasy 13, to be honest, was dissapointed by FF13, jaw dropping graphics, completely reworked combat system, but the new system felt kinda unrewarding, you don't feel in control much, battles are kinda played for you, and the game is Linear, walk along a set route style, something that Final Fantasy was never meant to be.

@madcatmk6 Gackt did performed in the states a while back. Though it was only at an anime festival, but still...it WOULD be nice to see him do more US performances. He was also in Toronto recently to promote his Hollywood film Bunraku.

It would be amazing to see him do more worldwide concerts alltogether, tbh. I personally don't understand why fans of Japanese stars always want them to stay IN Japan. If they want to go worldwide, then I say good on them! More publicity is always a good thing :)

@pokupokupoku Thing is most people would see that as selling out... or they're wapanese and want them to just sing in japanese. Most of the time, songs sung in Japanese that get translated to english either by fan subs or proper translation, don't mix well and usually don't rhyme. Don't get me wrong, I wish some artists like FLOW, GACKT and ASIAN KUNG FU GENERATION would released their stuff around the world, SONY has a huge Japanese market as well as American and can easily release over here.

If people need additional proof, take a look at the character design art- even the character icon pics IN the game (menu screen) - the one for Cloud has NO resemblance to Gackt or even much of one to Advent Children Cloud. Now, an argument COULD be made that Gackt looks at times like Advent Children Cloud, but VII was pre-Gackt in 1997.
