  • 'Hymne à l'amour'... but a true lullabye for all ages...

  • The laughter at the end sounds forced. Also, way to ruin everything. Love the song and her voice, though.

  • Can someone tell me what's the name of that tiny instrument?

  • @sirpatchybeard i believe its a music box :)

  • @sirpatchybeard its' simply a musical box

  • @moviesmyway i like regina spektor and all, but worden is beyong her, by leaps & bounds

  • @hstarr78 I prefer regina. Just because of the inner messages in her music, but Regina is out there much more than Worden.I recently started seeing Regina on our music video televisions here at college. It made me happy to see someone like regina rather than say Spice girls or Rihanna

  • That was really lovely :) I love her laugh at the end.. I wonder, did she translate the song? It doesn't really sound like it. Did she just write her own little words to the tune? In any event, its very nice

  • i was in paris for the winter and a lot of the souvenir shops sold these little music boxes of random songs. i remembered this video and when i found this song i had to buy it

  • I was looking on ebay or amazon to see if I could get one, but according to you I only can in paris!?

  • oh i really don't know. parisian tourist shops were all about them. they were even really music boxes, just the mechanism with the crank that you put in a box that you could buy separately. i just bought the mechanical part that makes the music, was like 12e

  • yeah that's what I mean by 'music box' actually, I adore them

I'll have to stop by a shop when I go, then

  • hermoso!!!!

  • B e a u t i f u l !!!

  • Thanks for this. I saw My Brightest Diamond for the first time last year in a church in Manchester. My girlfriend is a big fan and to be honest I hadn't heard much before the gig. Anyway Shara sung this right at the end and it seemed familiar then. I later rembered that I had a version of Jeff Buckley singing it from the Songs To No One album.

Great to hear this version again. :)

  • this is not edith piaf......

  • I am not quite sure as to who the song originated from but Edith Paif does sing the french version of this song.

  • edith piaf wrote it (one of the few songs she wrote herself) after her lover died. I know the french lyrics and it's a pretty good translation. i do miss the line at the end though (Dieu reunit ceux qui s'aiment -- God reunites people who love each other) :(

  • Closed my eyes and this voice brought me back to the Live at the Bataclan EP by Jeff Buckley. She is lovely :-)

  • this made me smile, cry, and laugh

    beautiful.

  • anyone else crack up at the end when they heard the laughter?

  • @arilovepink I cant help but smile stupidly!! :P

  • She is so beautiful, her voice is so amazing.

  • oo how quaint :)

  • did the cameraman fall over or something?

  • I saw her for the first time in 1999-2000, playing at Koffee?, which is a tiny coffee shop in New Haven, CT with a friend of mine on bass. It's amazing to watch the arc her career has taken.

  • she's amazing. i hadn't heard of her before the first time seeing her in concert, and i was captivated.

  • Beautiful...

  • Wow, awesomw, it´s a great job. Congratulations

  • Le ciel bleu sur nous peut s'effondrer. No me importaría. :)

  • O_O

  • Qu'est-ce qu'elle est talenteuse, cette femme!

  • this is quite possibly the most awe inspiring performance ive ever heard and seen before. stunning.

  • BRILLANT, like the Diamond. Shara you are really the ONE

  • one of the best versions I've ever heard !! Splendid .

  • Amazing ! So beautiful !

Hop ! in my favorites :)

Bravo, j'aime beaucoup, quel honneur à Edith Piaf ;)
