  • This guy is a Paul Vunak clone, and the most common attack by you guys is the comments

  • To sum up the video.... KNEE THEM IN THE GROIN hehe

  • i think this would be more common in a school fight, just saying. It's good though.

  • These techniques are good... but i still like the old Bas bong bong dangita dangita dang

  • rofl! GRABS :D :D

  • May not be the most common "attacks", but great and easy ways to defend against the demonstrated attacks.

    Nice video!

  • You equal getting grabbed with being attacked? What if they want to give back the wallet that you dropped, and you headbtutt them? =D

I was really hoping that 1 of the 3 most common would be an actual punch, oh well.

  • I'd be intrigued to know in what attack scenario someone would walk up to you and grab your shirt with both hands. maybe if it was just some stupid street fight, but a life or death attack. although, even then the attack would involve more than just grabbing and standing there. pushing you back/to the sides for instance. even if you could land elbows effectively, getting 'bowed in the face isn't nearly enough to stop a determined attacker. quit spreading hearsay MA myths.

  • its difficult to use an elbow strike against a double grab, you can't reach the face.

  • @pisau77 thats when you headbut :) hahaha

  • JKD is an awsome martial art i went to a class today in leicester learnt two different types of locks, the first one is against the sloppy right punch, and another lock against the right arm grapping your t shirt, youtuve vids are good but going to classes is better much easier 2 learn :)

  • You can lock against a sloppy right punch, but JKD in his true essence doesn't incorporate many locks, especially in that situation. Remember that JKD is economy of motion and energy. Against a sloppy punch you would intercept or do a simultaneous block and strike. For a begginer maybe defend first the punch and then do a strike (punch or kick)

  • isn't headlock one of the most common things?

  • disagree with your defense against a choke from the back. if you grab the arm one hand being on their bicep the other hand being on their forarm and do a basic toss over the back youll have them on the floor, have arm control, and be able to trample their face easily.

having said that, you forgot the #1 most comment attack - the big sloppy right arm punch

  • if the guy is much stronger and heavier, like a bouncer I don't think that solution is easy.

  • it is if you understand the basic principles of off balances. worst case you can drop to a knee and do it.

  • thnx it helped alot no more bullies 4 me lolz

  • dont hit somebody in the growings unless it is nessesary :D

  • 3 most common attacks... No way in Hell. Ask any nightclub bouncer/doorman and they'll tell you 90% of assaults start with an overhand right punch.

  • very true. A wide circular right punch is the most common attack from people with no martial art experience.

  • @Saraph actually they start wid guy 1 pushing guy 2,guy 2 going in and his freinds holding him back, guy 2 gets off of them and then ovrhand right punch guy 1

  • @Saraph I agree with you!!!

  • @Saraph yeah I agree with you in all the fights I have been in never have I been grabbed like that. Most people when they get close enough will start trying to hit you rather than reach out to grab you. The most common attack would definately be a punch, whether right handed or left handed. I have trained in JKD so I do see the benefit of learning how to defend against these kinds of attacks but being the most common I don't think so.

  • @Saraph from behind....

  • lol pillow fighting...

  • kudos on this one

  • lol
