Hey people, i was thinking about creating a Storm comic or something on youtube in which i would show Storm's true power and give her attention she deserves. So i would appreciate your opinions and suport about this. Thank you :)
Some people think the others that can summon weather can do it like storm but they can't.... Storm controls all types of nature and she has much more than earthly nature and she is the only on who can do all that and she also has the power of empathy, and alot of people don't understand that she is one of the most powerful beings!!!!
She is the best, she is perfect and so are her powers, SHE IS A GODDESS!!! I love Storm, she's got so much potential in terms of strength (mutant powers plus latent magic abilities). She's also such a regal, strong, but kind person.
@Crazycc20 I'm not sure what episode that is but if I'm not mistaken it was when Rogue was having a nightmare and she was loosing control over her power...
@atltallone907 There hasn't been another mutant but there's someone from 'Gen' named Sarah Rainmaker who also possesses the power to control weather. Just like Trisana Chandler and Thor. Oh and the Weather Wizard. But I like Ororo the best. She's wicked awesome :D And the song fits too. (Makes me think of Bleach xD)

Storm is my number 1 mutant ever... because it has a lot or different kind of powers... like lightning, hurricane, tornado, strong wind and etc. . . which made her a name "Storm". . . its so very phenomenal power.....
It's unfair that they don't give Storm credit, she's able to do much more then they show in X-men Evolution, and she is only shown in a show if Evan is there. After Evan went with the Morlocks they stopped showing(if that's even possible).
You know what I didn't like about Storm in Evolution because they didn't give her enough credit , and in the the show they make her very powerful they only gave her one episode that wasn't even about her. Or in Wolverine and The X-men they make her seem weak. She always get knocked out by something or someone while someone have save her. Only The Animated Series gave her enough credit and made her very powerful.
@fashionlady27 i agree for some reason Storm is placed second in command when she is the leader after Scott. They always make her seem so weak when she is really able to wipe everyone out if she were to cut loose on eeryone. Storm is always sold short and i dont like that
acully storm could take him she is one of the fewest known in the galaxy that faced the phenoix and survived. so superman would be breakfast for storm plus storm was stated as a goddess of eternity in the future so goddess vs. alien? i think the goddess would win
actually storm is not a goddess she was only believed to be by her tribespeople. and many in the galaxy will survive against phoenix because a large population of marvel characters have an invincibility practically. the phoenix is the ultimate force yes and jean as the phoenix is my fave hero but, i think superman could beat storm. unless storm owns some cryptonite she cant really do much right?
no not true...storm could in fact kill him by takeing the air from his lungs or shocking his heart but if you go by the comics and stuff then she could absorb the radeation from the cryptonite and channel it in a lightning bolt and kill him

she only has the limits a very fit woman would have. she does not have superhuman strength to suffice for her superhuman willpower.. and i see no classification as a marvel goddess unless you may quote it for me

Storm has a strong will, infact her will stronger than any of the X-men and that has been said countless of times. Her body can only endure so much raw energies before it is overwhelmed is what they mean. If she believes she can do it, tho, she will. Don't get it twisted Storm is the most powerful Mutant/Goddess.
There are many more powerful mutants. Iceman can flashfreeze the water inside of storm in less than a second. Jean Grey can disintegrate storm as jean works at a molecular level, with the phoenix force aswell as her already being the most powerful known telepath as an omega level. She is pretty much unstoppable, let alone the fact that she is invincible with the Phoenix where storm is a mere mortal and can die at any time.

@MidknightKC Storms power is actually limited. Its limited to her stamina as a woman, she doesn't have superhuman stamina and will get tired if she tries something extravagent.
Also Jean Grey on her own without the phoenix is already the strongest Telepath in the x men universe. With the phoenix its even further boosted. So i wouldn't say Jean grey is no match per se.
Another unfortunate limit to storms power is that she can't CREATE storms, she can only pull it from somewhere else in the world.

@MidknightKC Well considering Telepathy in the world of Xmen usually relates to Telekinesis which it does with Jean, she can move anything and what will storm do. She could just get thousands of knives to fly as storm, what is she meant to do to stop that She isnt invincible so a knife is a formidable opponent.
If she surrounds herself in a tornado, the speed of the flying knives and the thin streamlined shape would cause some to pass through it.

I mean there's a reason why the Greeks worshipped Zeus as king of the Gods. And Jean isn't invincible without Phoenix either. @MidknightKC a single lightning strike is hotter than the surface of the sun ofcourse but using telekinesis Jean could easily shield herself....Assuming the battle is taking place in the air which is usually what storm and jean choose, she could just telekinetically shield herself with a car door or any metal object near by and not have the repurcussion of the lightning striking the floor and charging her due to being in the air.
@assassin4than I also have to admit that it is quite annoying how many times Jean gets a headache and thats all due to magneto and xavier pacifying her true potential as a child before she joined the academy, they didn't want her to cause a chaos as a child. and also as you said storm can destroy planets but with the phoenix force jean grey actually consumes stars to satiate the power. and also the phoenix can take life energy from the past and future, meaning stopping lives from being born.
@assassin4than Yep, thats why I try to make the distinction in my points when i say Jean without Phoenix. With Phoeninx force anyone would be hardpressed to beat her save a few. But, lol, without Phoenix i still think she has more vulnerabilities for Storm to exploit than vice versa. Using telekinesis to shield herself from a lightning strike is a good idea, but whose to say she'd know where the strike is coming from, especially since Storm can shield herelf from reading her thoughts 8).
@MidknightKC touche my good man.i havent seen a storm fan who actually posed a good debate, unlike the typical (STORM IS GODDESS SHE CAN KILL PHEENIXZ).
But yes Jean in the state she is in now would probably lose to storm she hasnt really been able to prove her omega level tele-powers yet by only doing weak attacks and getting migraines alot. She isnt very good with sudden knowledge of all this power, hence the dark phoenix saga.

I'm a big rpg buff so i love doing little situationals like this lol. Also you helped me see that it wouldn't be such a one sided victory for Storm so I think we both won 8).
also Jean grey is an Omega and that doesnt technically make her a goddess. the term goddess isnt as in queen like "the weather goddess" this argument means goddess as in a holy being, a level over everyone else
@thatnylesguy wiki says storm is only possible omega-level. as we speak, the marvel company has not declared her omega. maybe she's getting there as her evolution is still going on. but she is not YET omega.

@rylai i am not sure. i have never watched that episode. but seems to me storm is controlling the weather and it's gonna be violent, so jean gray seemingly asked the younger x-men to find a safe place to stay while storm unleashes the wrath of the weather.
@rylai I've seen that part... she was trying to cleanse the river... because it was infected by some drink that makes the mutants loose control of their powers... Which as what you can see with Spyke... there were thorns or spikes behind him and around his head, which is caused by the drink.

ya storm she so rules and for more storm check out wolverine and the x-men new animated series coming to the us in 2009 but if your really a fan of x-men e-mail me on my acount and i can tell you where you can watch episodes of the show online storm does not get enough screen time like she should get but she gets some
If you were looking for something that showed a lot of Storm, then I have to say, 'not really'. Even one of the writers said that for most of the battles Storm was just too powerful for it. However, as a whole, it was a good show. The first two seasons mutants were unknown to the world, so a lot of their battles was to keep a lid on mutants. The last two seasons were mainly about coping the new world where mutants are known and feared. That said, if you love X-Men as a whole, check it out!
Has anyone heard about X Men 4 the orgin of wolverine. its the fourth movie in X Men. And i also heard that Storm might not even be in this movie. Does anyone know anything?

@MidknightKC a single lightning strike is hotter than the surface of the sun ofcourse but using telekinesis Jean could easily shield herself....Assuming the battle is taking place in the air which is usually what storm and jean choose, she could just telekinetically shield herself with a car door or any metal object near by and not have the repurcussion of the lightning striking the floor and charging her due to being in the air.

@assassin4than I also have to admit that it is quite annoying how many times Jean gets a headache and thats all due to magneto and xavier pacifying her true potential as a child before she joined the academy, they didn't want her to cause a chaos as a child. and also as you said storm can destroy planets but with the phoenix force jean grey actually consumes stars to satiate the power. and also the phoenix can take life energy from the past and future, meaning stopping lives from being born.

@assassin4than Yep, thats why I try to make the distinction in my points when i say Jean without Phoenix. With Phoeninx force anyone would be hardpressed to beat her save a few. But, lol, without Phoenix i still think she has more vulnerabilities for Storm to exploit than vice versa. Using telekinesis to shield herself from a lightning strike is a good idea, but whose to say she'd know where the strike is coming from, especially since Storm can shield herelf from reading her thoughts 8).

@MidknightKC touche my good man.i havent seen a storm fan who actually posed a good debate, unlike the typical (STORM IS GODDESS SHE CAN KILL PHEENIXZ).
But yes Jean in the state she is in now would probably lose to storm she hasnt really been able to prove her omega level tele-powers yet by only doing weak attacks and getting migraines alot. She isnt very good with sudden knowledge of all this power, hence the dark phoenix saga.
You win, I FINALLY see an argument proving me wrong.

@assassin4than It was refreshing to play this out with someone who isn't ignorant and who didn't resort to namecalling and the usual stuff that i find myself caught up in. I'm a big rpg buff so i love doing little situationals like this lol. Also you helped me see that it wouldn't be such a one sided victory for Storm so I think we both won 8).

also Jean grey is an Omega and that doesnt technically make her a goddess. the term goddess isnt as in queen like "the weather goddess" this argument means goddess as in a holy being, a level over everyone else

@thatnylesguy wiki says storm is only possible omega-level. as we speak, the marvel company has not declared her omega. maybe she's getting there as her evolution is still going on. but she is not YET omega.

@rylai i am not sure. i have never watched that episode. but seems to me storm is controlling the weather and it's gonna be violent, so jean gray seemingly asked the younger x-men to find a safe place to stay while storm unleashes the wrath of the weather.

@rylai I've seen that part... she was trying to cleanse the river... because it was infected by some drink that makes the mutants loose control of their powers... Which as what you can see with Spyke... there were thorns or spikes behind him and around his head, which is caused by the drink.

If you were looking for something that showed a lot of Storm, then I have to say, 'not really'. Even one of the writers said that for most of the battles Storm was just too powerful for it. However, as a whole, it was a good show. The first two seasons mutants were unknown to the world, so a lot of their battles was to keep a lid on mutants. The last two seasons were mainly about coping the new world where mutants are known and feared. That said, if you love X-Men as a whole, check it out!

The Origin movie is a prequel to the X-Men trilogy about Wolverine's past with Weapon X. As such as I hate to say it, I'm glad Storm isn't in it.
