I was going through a bit of a slump this year, and am in HS so everybody knows is a very confusing time in some way or another for all of us. I have a person like Morrie in my life. I'm a senior in high school and my 9th grade english teacher is my Morrie. Shes my best friend and I could have never made it this far without her, Shes the one who told me about this movie and I had to watch it. We have been so close since day 1 of my freshmen year. I mean yes the book brings up life lessons, but it also attempts to dictate how you think. I like to think freely, be myself, not told one thing or to do another; that's what I feel this book does. I love this book, and bought 3 copies to give to my friends and relatives. I had no idea a movie was made, and was apart of Oprah's book club.

As a teenager, I really had no interest to read this kinds of books but after a few more chapters, I realized that this book contains lots of valuable lessons. It changed the way I see things.
