  • Well..

    There goes my childhood.

  • I wonder why I haven't seen this on disney channel...

  • This makes being Nazi seem like....creepiness.

  • They spell Fuhrer wrong.

  • Ещё говорят, у нас была тупая пропаганда.

  • so....many.........SWAZTIKAS

  • Uh, afaik this isn't actually racism.

  • VELCOME VORKERS OF NAZI LAND!!! I don't no why but i love that line.

  • Gotta love ol' timey racism!

  • CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED

  • Whats extremely funny if you can spot it, Der Fuehrer's face (The song the cartoon takes it name from) the tune of that song actually comes from Horst-Wessel lied, the Nazi Party anthem. I just find that hilarious.

  • @GermanConquistador08 You are right. There's only few differences between them. :D Very funny! (Is this cartoon banned in Germany?)

  • Skillful blending of the Spike Jones anti-Hitler tune with the Disney Studio's art. I love the bread made with sawdust (hence cutting it with a saw).

  • How many noticed even houses looks like hitler, shadows like a hair and so on :D

  • If this teaches us anything, it's that Miley Cyrus is a racist.

  • Swastika buildings?! OK...

  • lol about 5:16 the nazi guy calls Donald a fucking ass. incase you anyone who sees this doesn't know german

  • @MrDarkside222 No, Schweinehund actually means, literally, "pig-dog" (i.e. Swine-hound)

  • doing = song. fuck autocorrect

  • watched it only once but can't get that doing out of my head :(

  • hmm cathy song but wait donalds a nazi i lost alll respect

  • @squekify It's ironic. They're making fun of the Nazis.

  • Oh my god. Picture seeing this on Disney Channel today. HOLY SHIT, they would have their ass chewed out.

  • Let's see, this would be...Nazi phoque!

  • @CharlieBrownreal The Mickey Mouse cartoon 'Lend a Paw' won an Oscar.

  • OH MY GOD. THIS IS SO BAD IT'S HILARIOUS.

  • The sound is off on this vid

  • Man, Hitler must of been so pissed off that his favorite cartoons were mocking him.

  • I remember my dad telling about the famous or perhaps infamous Spike Jones song mocking Hitler. My dad grew up during the WW II years and I remember him telling me about this song. Soooo funny.

  • lols work 48 hours a day thats funny

  • hihi ich hab was unanständiges entdeckt

  • I like how they're mocking nazis but portraying the japanese with the stereotype from propaganda posters.

  • Attention: this is ANTI-NAZI propaganda. Donald Duck is not really a nazi. Watch the ending! This is "Weird Al"-type parody.

Oh, and the United States entered the war in 1941. It would be quite a shock to the American GIs who were fighting in Europe and the Pacific from 1942-43 to know that they weren't actually fighting in a war.

  • @hoppinghessien Kinda sad that you would have to point out that it is anti-Nazi propaganda. Not a moment of this makes being a Nazi look enjoyable.

  • @rebelsushi No kidding!

  • @hoppinghessien You know.... I really wish comments like this weren't necessary for the truth of the humor to be understood...

  • @hoppinghessien Thanks, captain obvious.

  • It's 卐:卐卐 o'clock lol

  • I would have thrown a rock instead of a tomato @ Hitler's picture. I would rather have the tomato in a can of c rations.

  • @xsailor85 Only rotten tomatoes spash like that, but they should have eaten it in time.

  • boa is das krass

  • Don't think I've seen this in the Disney channel

  • @rossnavy It's WW2 Propaganda. Most people don't want to see propaganda.

  • @rossnavy Of course not it's very sensitive material. About the only place you can find it is on YOUTUBE or on the treasury dvd disks war years. But hey it's alot of fun making merry at der fuehers expence. Won the OSCAR for best short Cartoon in 1942.

  • @rossnavy x3 I wish they would!!!!!!!!

  • I.... What?

  • SOUPAH DUPAH SOUPAH MEHN

  • What time is it? NAZI o CLOCK!

  • soso komme aus münchen

  • HEIL HITLER

  • now I know who created " Electro dancing " at 5:40 :)

  • FFS , THE OPENING SONG IS STUCK IN MY BRAIN ! :O

  • donald won oscar

    mickey never won oscar

this proves that donald is better than that nigger mouse

  • wait... was that actually an episode? Im confused

  • Yes it´s actually an episode, it showed 1943 in the USA, never in Germany.

  • i love how he makes fun of how there are swastikas everywhere like in the clouds, bushes, and electric poles lmao

  • @DraketheGreat1000 Yes it Wayne me who Posted this comment! A friend of mine posted it! And idont know why he hates Germany, ok I hate Germany too, but not because the nazis! Just because the weather, the people, the landscape, the law, the language, the shoolsustem and anything else, but not because of nazis!!!

  • Wow just reading these comments is more entertaining than the cartoon.

  • if you were to actually LISTEN to what they say (we'll work ourselves to death), you'd get this is so anti Nazi, that it's sort of funny.

  • Americans are too ignorant and uneducated to recognize or understand a parody. How can they be expected to defend with facts their over inflated biased and oft misguded opinions. Explaining this cartoon in he context of WWII would be a waste. Let's play msic for a cow and cast pearls before swine.

  • lolwut WAS THAT

  • I had a new image showing Donald Duck in the American Revolutionary War outfit, a rapier, and a Captain America shield right now.

Reason 1: Donald Duck is a sailor, a treasurer, and a supreme ruler of a studio with a lot of pirate movies, making him a pirate himself.

Reason 2: The era with pirates we know and love is the era that the Revolutionary War took place.

Reason 3: I'm pretty sure that this video makes Donald look like Steve Rogers, especially when buying Marvel with a Bat Credit Card.

  • @SirGabriel2076 Okay, you don't get the joke? Disney and Marvel had that common enemy called Detective Comics and decided to work together under the influence of my enemy's enemy is my friend.

  • Respond to this video... Daffy Duck on the other hand has the talents of Batman, dressing him up in that fancy Batman costume and making him a ninja, like most other Warner Brothers ninjas.

  • Jesus Christ DiePotties, it was over 60 years ago, laugh about it, Germany aint guilty of nothing no more

  • Funny as. But yo respond to some of you, America didn't win the war Britain + Russia did, and at this time blacks were treated awfully in USA. America joined in 1944 last 2 years out of six years of war. So stop blowing smoke up your own arses!

  • Thats the reason why I hate my homecountry. FUCK YOU GERMANY!!!

    FUCK YOU HITLER,

    FUCK YOU MUSSOLINI!!!

  • @DiePotties that's not a reason why you hate germany, not all germans in that time were nazis, and most of the nazi soldiers were drafted!

  • It's weird how so many people think this shows how disney supported the nazis, even when it shows in the episode how daffy woke up from the nightmare completely elated to be an american. Also, at the end hitler gets a tomato to the face.

  • At tis time, americans were so humans and gentle with black people... So easy to give lessons.

  • Welcome to nazi land I mean Disney Land.

  • Heil hitler he's my hero

  • Donald as a Nazi? No wonder the US won the war, hee hee.

  • This cartoon makes me laugh hahaha

  • For Americans IS WE NOT SUPPER MEN

  • well that was.... educational...

  • Disney won an Oscar for this in 1942 do your homework and find out why.

  • This is quite disturbing.

  • Donald isn't really a Nazi, folks. He's just acting to prove a point.

  • @Noromongrel

Kinda like Charlie Chaplin in the Great Dictator?

  • Wow. Walt Disney destroyed my childhood. Walt Disney.....thats gotta be some sorta record.

  • thumbs up if ur watching this in 2011

  • what the hell is this?

  • just watched through the whole thing

    ha

  • what the fuck

    how did this happen

    i am disturbed

  • What Donald was a nazi? How did that happen?

  • Easy, 1943 was "war-time" and Walt Disney wanted to shock everybody that´s to be a Nazi is shit.

  • what...

    the....

    fuck?..

    :-O

  • had they ever seen japanese face?

it looks like chinese! how rude

  • Walt Disney was a master propagandist. he did his bit as a member of the ruling class to railroad the USA into a war the people didn't want.

But in real life he hated jews more than he hated Nazis

  • @Voltara Who doesn't ?

  • good ol'satire...

Yes people its actually anti-Nazi propaganda, it openly mocks the vices and culture of Nazi society for comedic effect.

  • WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN

  • @nikkiwazlyk Brock Obama is my favourite facebooker :D

  • @Kittencrazysim You can't even spell Barack? HE'S THE DAMN PRESIDENT. I don't even like him and I know how to spell it!

  • @combatchuck777 Oh hunny, please get out of your cave and experience the world! I'm talking about a trolling facebook person, not the actual American president. Oh it's your ignorancy that made me laugh... But it's okay, not very many Non-Trolls know what I'm talking about, but I appreciate your reply, it's a troll group, spoofing the president because Brock from Poekmon is similar to Barack, I hope you understand me now, good day, from a British Grammar Nazi Troll. Sayounara!

  • @Kittencrazysim Lol I do know what you are referring to, actually... I just hadn't realized. I myself am a grammar Nazi... lol

  • @combatchuck777 Ahhh, it's forgiven then. It's lovely to know someone knows what I'm talking about as they rarely do, lol

  • @nikkiwazlyk lol yup

  • @nikkiwazlyk HAHA YEAH!!

  • @nikkiwazlyk Brock Obamas the shit.. No doubt.

  • but still... i had been banhammered by him bcoz of misunderstood. hooly shoot

  • Propaganda much?

  • cock n' cum

  • you guys who say its antigermanic are dum duh it is it was WWII propaganda

  • Does anybody know when this was made :)?

  • @SBfanXIV Thanks :)

  • @BowToMySkill Apparently you missed your history lessons about the first half of the twentieth century. You know, when we were at war with Germany twice.

  • What did I just watch...

  • OMG theres Swastikas all over the Freaking Place!

  • DONALD YOU TRAITOR!

  • Please say that this is joke

  • The song highly suggests they hate Hitler.

  • son scheiss ich hab ein ohrwurm von dem lied xD

  • Yes I'm viewer 599,999 and I don't look Jewish

  • You do not want to get me started on history. Both hated Jews as did many people including Nazi sympathizers Charles Lindberg and King Edward VIII of the UK. Disney attened meeting of the American Nazi party.

  • @EssexAggiegrad2011 Lindbergh wasn't a Nazi sympathizer, cripes. A photo was circulated of him supposedly performing a Nazi salute. He was actually doing the Pledge of Allegiance. Before the rise of the NSDAP, the "Bellamy Salute", which resembles the Nazi salute, was the appropriate way of saluting the US flag. Lindbergh was an isolationist, not a Nazi sympathizer. It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt

  • @DalmanLotro You call me a fool? I know about the Bellemy salute but Lindburgh went to Berlin and met with Hitler. He recieved a medai on behalf of Hitler and never showed repent never returned it during the war. He also once said: " We can have peace and security only so long as we band together to preserve that most priceless possession, our inheritance of European blood, only so long as we guard ourselves against attack by foreign armies and dilution by foreign races."

  • I pissed myself when the music suddenly started playing as loudly as possible at 0:07.

  • You are kidding right? Disney was a huge and open anti-semite

  • @EssexAggiegrad2011

Being Anti-Semitic is not the same as being a Nazi. Believe it or not, the Nazis had more goals than just the elimination of the Jews.

  • @tsukiyukikage

Being anti-semitic is equally as retarded as being a nazi though.

  • It´s a hypocritical propagando in the War. The relationship betwen capitalism and workers are exactly the same.

    Did you see "Modern Times"?

Nazism is wrong. Capitalism is wrong.

    Im not a fool

There is no liberty in my capitalist country. There is no liberty in USA of donald.

  • You gotta love the irony of Disney doing an anti-Nazi cartoon

  • @EssexAggiegrad2011 are you accusing disney of being nazist?

  • Wow, there are many things that could make me really hate America, but this one finally did it. When our people were dying in the Siege of Stalingrad, americans made funny cartoons with wacky Nazis.

  • @ResurrectedTemplar This was commissioned by the US Military to be made by Disney as an anti-nazi propaganda film. I'm not saying I'm head over heels for every decision America has made, I'm just saying that you should do your research before forming an opinion

  • @BroadwayPirate1106 Yeah, real nice - our military were fighting and their were commissioning cartoons. With possibly greatest war criminals and most brutal bastards in history portrayed all wacky.

But yeah, I was kinda harsh on US. At least they provided the bullets to shoot those bastards with.

  • @ResurrectedTemplar these cartoons actually had an impressive impact on the american public. after the release of this film numbers of recruits increased greatly, and after various other films for saving money for taxes and buying bonds people felt more compelled to do such . Without such films creating this impact who knows how things would've gone. We can't shit on the past when every little detail in this war counted. media is a very powerful outlet

  • I actually found out about this by watching it in AP world history
