Okay, first of all the SMS intro kicks butt! :) I can remember a similar feeling the first time I drove by myself. There was a sense of freedom yet nervousness for sure. That's cool that your friends disguised your game! I used to do that when I gave gifts at Christmas. I've never played Cyborg Justice before. The saw arm looks really cool, and the character customization is nice, but if the controls are terrible than it sounds like a pass on adding to one's collection. Nice review!

@EyeAmTom Point taken. I just never found the game enjoyable enough to invest the time in mastering them. On top of that, the cool moves aren't entirely necessary. You could just got through the whole game using the jab.

I use to play this game a fair bit , I remember the code still....Press start, C,B,B,C,C,A,C,B for secret weapons ...

OK that intro cracked me up, you're gonna have McLovin' as your profile pic before long. I was amazed to see that Firebird. Your parents had more trust than a guy on safari in a meatsuit. They also punk'd you with that present!! As for the game, I don't know what legal system is operating within cyborg justice when your poor punkass character has to rob the dead for his pants. Nice comments on the control system, that lag is longer than a cyborg's inside leg measurement.

I love it when you do a review Vintage, there is always an interesting story/memory to go along with it and you don't just review good games, you review bad ones while still keeping your cool ^_^

I loved this particular review, very comprehensive with lots of gameplay explanation, well done man =)

If you've never tried it I recommend "Black Hole Assault" on Sega CD, it's more of a 2-D fighting game than a beat em up but it totally reminds me of this one.

Gezz I've heard of this game, and seen this game around a million times. But I've never actually seen the gameplay. Oh was the family Firebird a V8? Hahaha than I wouldn't trust you with it. My friends first car in HS was a Firebird Formula 350 and he spun it out onto someones front lawn the first time out in it. It was fun though!

OK, I did get into a couple of races...one against my buddy in a Camero and the other against an Ice Creme truck. I won both times.

Ah yes, Cyborg Justice. I remember picking this up in a local gaming store that sold both old and new video games. To be honest, I was disappointed due to the awkward controls. If only those were perfected this would have made a great beat 'em up. Nonetheless, decent video game and good review.

Well, at least it is not as bad as Heavy Nova. The music is good in that game as well as it also uses a customization feature after you beat the stage, but the controls are terrible.
