I had a Magnavox Odyssey console,but it may have been a newer version which probably came out just before Atari in 77. It only played variations of Pong and I think it had some yellow on it,and possibly the paddles were built into the console. Well for 1973 it was different but it really sucked in the end! The graphics were DISMAL! Those cartridges were a joke - the programs(games) were not on the cartridges, those carts just had jumper switches for the hardware on board the Odyssey, The Fairlight Channel F was the first real programmable video game system around 1976 just a few months before the King of all Retro programmable systems came out, the Atari VCS aka 2600. The Atari and the Channel F blew away the Odyssey, still its cool.
