the whole reason skynet kept using the 101 model was because it found out about john connors attachment to the one in t2, and decided to use that as a weapon against him. its what caused him to be killed in the future events leading to t3
Nice! So I got this model, and have it max 09 but i cant figure out how to animate it, cant understand a thing in the readme file.. Maybe you could help me..
Hey teamworkspictures, i would recommend swapping out the blue laser and muzzle flashes for the more accurate T2 pinkish/purple plasma bursts. However, this looks so incredible, even with the Sarah Connor Chronicle's music that I wonder if you've ever thought to use scenes from Terminator Salvation and simply overlay your Aerial Hunter Killer to see how different the movie would've been with it's distinctive look?
Thanks for using the good "laser sound effect". I absolutely despise the newer sound they use in the films. Also, awesome choice of sounds for the walking... works well and thats what I would imagine it would sound like.
Very nice modeling and perspective(Compositing) of background! There are certain things if you add, that would make it more realistic1!
Texturing is good, But if you had used a bit more glossy textures, with some photoshop editing and 3ds max blend(material editor) it would have been more real especially the reflections they are V.V.V. important!
Animation Recoil of the gun, secondary animation principle, and one more thing, when something(even a machine) is shooting at something it will keep its view that way ( head animation)
I really like your work,i can see the effort! just wanted to share!!!

Humanoid Hunter Killers are Terminators, but are built for combat, not infiltration, So they are manufactured without skin (example: T800 HK=T800 endo with no skin) the HK Terminators are the ones we see in the front lines, mostly in flashback scenes(T2/T3=T800) and Salvation(T-600).
sort of. T-101 refers to the skin, so T-101 is one of the hundreds of skins put on Series 800 Terminators. Judging by the films though T-101 must be a popular infiltration skin though, maybe the most commonly used.
@VenomShock It's not "T101" it's "Model 101." If it was a "T101" then that means it's an early Terminator, which isn't what 101 refers to. In full, it's "T800 Model 101."
@that70sguy2000 He refers to himself as a T-101 in film. Technically he is a T800, as that is the series model. But the entire technical way of saying it is Terminator Series 800 Model 101.
@VenomShock I'm aware of the name in its entirety. "T-101" is NEVER said in T1 and T2. How could anyone take T3 and T4 seriously? As I've said before, a T101 is basically an early Terminator. If you're going to be taking "Terminator Series 800 Model 101" into account, then the T101 must be "Terminator Series 101."
@that70sguy2000 actually reese mentioned the T-101 model. arnie said something like" i am a T-800 terminator Model number 101" or something like that. trust me ive known about T101 before T3. in sarah connor chronicles, other t- sumthings are mentioned as different skins. as far as i know, there is no such thing as t-101 series terminators. only T-101 skins.
@Scalifax Reese NEVER said T101. A T101 doesn't refer to skins at all. Whenever you have T-###, it's a TERMINATOR, not the SKIN that Skynet gives it. I can't trust what you say unless you derationalize my comment. I can't trust what you say because "T101" has been widely denied by the large and loyal fan community I am a member of.
@The1979Warriors No it doesn't. The full description of an Arnold model is T800 Model 101. A T101 is, most likely an early Terminator. Model 101 refers to the Arnold skin. T101 isn't the same.
If you still think T101 refers to the skin, you've gotta be one hell of a T3 fanboy.
@VenomShock Model 101 is usually used to refer to skin, Arny's specifically. In terminator 3, the t-850 refers to itself as a t-101 for some reason. But that movie is so junky and distant from terminator "lore" that I don't even count it as being part of the terminator series.
I was under the impression that CSM-101 was the processor model, T800 was the chasis designation. I don't think we heard anything in the films that could be pegged as a skin type. Hell the T-800 might just be a series model, with specific variations based on body type.
awesome work

Hunter Killers are seperated into 2 groups
Non-Humanoid Hunter kills:
HK Aerials(the flying ones)
FK's(smaller flying ones)
The tanks/centurions,yada yada
Humanoid Hunter Killers are Terminators, but are built for combat, not infiltration, So they are manufactured without skin (example: T800 HK=T800 endo with no skin) the HK Terminators are the ones we see in the front lines, mostly in flashback scenes(T2/T3=T800) and Salvation(T-600).
