i dont understand the point of a touch and go ?

It's basically just practicing a landing. In this situation he makes a landing and has enough runway to just go up again (Don't really have to waste time stopping) and fly to a new destination. Also you need 3 take offs and landing with in 90 days to stay current to fly with passengers. During the day you can do touch and gos, but at night it has to be a full stop, so I'm thinking currency isn't the case here.

they let you fly in for touch and go?!?! at Indy?!?!? on freekin- 5R?!?!?!?!? they use that runway all the time, well, at least in the opposite direction!!! (23L)
