I am a diehard hawthorn supporter, and as a hawthorn supporter I can honestly say that I like Buddy Franklin no more than I do any other player.The Buddy Love thing is really more to do with the media, and not a true representation of us hawks supporters. Thats not to say that we are not extremely proud of Buddy, as we should be, (He did kick over a tonne last year), but I think I am talking on behalf of all hawks supporters when I say that we are proud of ALL our players.

Hawk's were simply brilliant. Geelong can kick the ball inside the forward 50 and claim they had more inside 50's but at the end of the day Hodge cleared 20 of them, MEGA OWNAGE!

They look great Geelong but, they were exposed. They play 16 men inbetween both 50m lines to flood the midfield. Makes them look good but leaves nothing in their forward 50m. Hence their poor efficiency, next year others will expose them like the Hawks did.

With Croad and Young on, Bateman at 100% the game would have been more even in the second quarter. For Hawthorn to take that pressure and turn it upside down to undermine Geelong was the most remarkable Grand Final performance seen in living memory. Clarko is a genius, Hodgey a hero, Dew a legend, Crawford and inspiration and Rioli a prodigy.
