TNT-Traps doesnt make much sense in most cases, because you need much time to build it and you need to repair it after every use (especially the mobtrap needs much time to rebuild), except if explosions doesnt destroy structures (bud the TNT-Blocks aren't that cheap^^)

Here is an idea for a trap- use the silk touch enchantment and place diamond ore at the end of the hallway. the person will see it and just start running like crazy to get it and won't see a pressure plate in front of the diamond that triggers a tnt explosion dropping you to kingdom come.
