@thenewyorker823 Hotspot doesn't work for some reason when connecting the xbox to the computer/laptop. But if you want another VPN (Freeukvpn no longer works), you'd be best off just googling 'Free (The country you wish to use) VPN'. regarding the mac tutorial, I probably won't have the time to make one but either you can either youtube or google it, or if I find something i'll message you about it

@borisovbobby Yeah I've received quite a few comments stating that, if you want to try find a new VPN source just type in 'free (what ever country you want to use) and vpn'. That's how I originally found the free uk vpn website

I can set up the VPN, share and connect it just fine. But then my 360 won't connect to XBL. Works as soon as I disconnect the VPN though.

@tomarlyn It depends on what VPN you're using. If your using something like hotspot shield it wouldn't work no matter what you do... That's what I think may be wrong :S

@MrRickyBest Really sorry but I don't have the time myself to look for a USA VPN website, but the way I found the site mentioned in the video was that I simply googled 'Free UK vpn service' and that gave me results. Try the same except for the USA and get back to me if you find a good site!

@PandoXLR I live in the UAE, black ops map packs had the region lock for this country. I used this procedure, downloaded the DLC and so far no consequences!

And to the second question, when you use all this you should be able to log in whilst appearing as if you are in the UK. If you have any more problems just comment here again :)

I have used other VPN clients and sucsesfully have IP adress in Miami or in California.

Problem is that when i connect my xbox to my computer, it dosent find the IP and cant connect to xbox live. Help me urgently please and you will be my new hero!

@orjan1982 Go to your xbox live settings, and try manually type in your IP! If you want to find out your IP just type 'IP' into google!

When i share my VPN to my local area connection when i turn by xbox on it says unidentified network when my ethernet is in, and also, when its at 99% do you sign out or just put the cable in?

@Jaaaaaack2k11 By 99% it will say download failed, so what you do is after it fails you connect the xbox to the VPN then press 'download again', this will cause the download to start again yet from 99% and should complete :)

@Jaaaaaack2k11 Without using a VPN the files should download to 98-99% then fail, after it reaches 99% you connect your xbox live through a VPN connection and it should complete the download!
