Interesting idea and pretty good trailer, although I personally would have presented the title in a different way. As opposed to IT 2, I think something like IIT would have been better. But good job nevertheless.

I would actually like to see a sequel. It is strongly implied, actually it is almost spelled out in other novels, that old Pennywise is alive and well. I'd like King to write a sequel taking place in the modern day with the clown coming back, as he is due.

Okay for those calling Pennywise a serial killer, you'd have to be HUMAN to be a serial killer. Pennywise isn't *really* a clown. That is just one of the shapes he takes. The whole point was that he was something so evil that our minds couldn't survive seeing his true form, and so to each person he appeared slightly different. Pennywise, the Werewolf, the dead boys, the bird, those were the images the mind made in order to accept what it was seeing.

@Pozorrogo Freddy Krueger, in fact I believe its the exact premise you were looking for. He's a serial killer, kills kids in thier sleep, and takes thier souls to make him stronger. They're forced to live inside his nightmare forever. I'm not sure Pennywise counts as a serial killer, he absolutely has a pattern, but its not human. At all. At least you can (debatably) kill Freddy.

Actually I read at Stephen King website that he would like to make sequels to his books and in the book Dreamcatcher there are references that IT may still be alive. Well the alien in the book calls himself Mr. Bob Gray same as IT and in Derry one of the characters passes by a statue that was donated by the losers club for all the children that were murdered during those times and someone or something wrote in clown red paint "Pennywise lives"
