@BoredNotanymore idk! a friend taught me this trick and it works like magic. i think the salt just speeds the process up a bit and helps to really scrub off all the crap.. because i got lazy once and just put alcohol and noticed i spent longer and the results weren't quite as good. basically salt just makes it work better. but alcohol alone should work as well!
