@coldwarmotors With the boat tank method you would also loose your built in line of sight fuel gauge! It looks like the car has an IV drip, I'd love to see you pull it into a full service gas station and tell them to "fill er up".
@CBRHurricane6 OH, I was just teasing and being facetious. I'm not sure how long it sat, but I've seen this with one other vehicle my uncle got started that sat for 40 years I believe. It blew out the gaskets, but it ran! That was impressive.
@backyardsounds oh wow, a commenter on youtube with a brain, yea didnt mean to sound like i was jumpin on ya, im just used to the idiots that will argue for the sake of arguing,
well, when gaskets sit for 40's years u cant expect em to hold much LOL cool you got it running tho,
best i even did was i bought a honda motorcycle that had been sitting on its side on someones lawn for a couple years, had it runnin in like 2 days, all the cleaning took the most time
@AudioMobil Hi! Thanks for watching. Works great when the fuel pump is shot and the gas tank is punctured, or when there is still (very) old gas in the tank...
Just remember to unhook it when you aren't using the car, or it can drain into the engine if the float needle valve isn't perfect. oops.
@midnitesquirldog Hi, I'm going to restore the green 2-door. The 4-door body was removed to use the complete chassis for the other car. The old sixes were very reliable and this one still sounds pretty good. Glad you liked it.
that could be a nice car.

Nice cars! The two-door one reminds me of Christine when Arnie first drove it out of LeBay's garage. Good luck with the restoration.
