I have a Macbook Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6.7).

I've had a Windows partition used with Parallells. It was slow, somewhat cumbersome and time consuming to switch to and use, and kept crashing, plus Parallell used so much CPU that the fan went crazy. Eventually I got fed up and uninstalled both.

After seeing this tip I purchased Crossover for Mac (40 dollars very well spent I think) but would never have gotten it to work without this fantastically instructive video.

@masterwizard155 .iso's are usually entire Operating Systems. This video is solely for single applications. If you would like to install the actual Windows OS, you need to check out either VMWare Fusion, or Parallels Desktop (I have a review and a tutorial for installing OS's on my channel).

Most of u have had Windows computers Get the disk install it with boot camp assistant

Finder>Applications>Utilities>­Boot Camp Assisntant

Then after that if you want to run Windows Then shut down Your Mac

Then hold alt/Option key the select windows to run mac os x do the same but dont hold option but if you do you can still click mac os x ( your Account name)

Camtasia basically has a bult in movie editor, and you can add arrows, text, special effects, etc. I have a video review of it on my homepage.

As for the PS3 thing, I'm not so sure. I don't have a PS3 myself, so I really can't help you there.

It is to my understanding that I do not have to purchase any windows OS to use individual windows program. I just need to purchase Crossover which will enable me to run individual windows program I need like Microsoft office (windows version) Also, is Cross over the same concept as "Boot Camp" for MAC? I just wanna point out that it would probably be best to download the Mac version of Office instead of the Windows version, just because you wouldn't have that Mac feel.

Also, Boot Camp is a little different in the sense that it's the entire operating system, not just one application. Also, while running Boot Camp, you cannot access your Mac, as it is basically another OS installed separately.

If you really want to install the whole OS while running it with your Mac, consider using Parallels.

Thats' usually what happens when:

- The program begins in fullscreen

- You chose for it to launch after installing

- You have the wrong bottle type

- The Installer requires a certain file to edit (You do not really have this since there is really no C Drive.)

hey, i have this and i have a single disk game, caesar 3, and it works perfectly, but i also have sims deluxe and that doesn't work. the only difference is that sims is two disks. does that affect it? i've checked the faq, and rebooted and nothing works, can you help?

Probably. I am not 100 percent sure considering I don't have the specific program you're talking about, but I do know that there really is no C Drive in Crossover, so its probably not recognizing that the files on both discs go together.

You should be able to open it the same way you open Dmgs. However, most Iso files are Windows files so you may just have the wrong operating system.

Some games work that way. If you look into the coding, you will see that it was unable to get the size of the window, commonly found when using it in fullscreen mode.

Another way to do it is with Parallels or Boot Camp. If using Boot Camp, you can find Windows 7 along with its product key online at the Microsoft Website. Install it and you can share the file and open it with your new Virtual Machine.

No, you actually don't. Download Windows 7 Beta for free, and when you use Boot Camp, choose ISO file, or DMG.
