yeah you can get started with this one but remember. if you have never played these kind of games befor they may be a little bit chalenging. but once you get good at the they are very rewarding

lol. this is the first FF to come out on this generation of consoles.

the older ones were fuckin epic, but i dunno how well u can appreciate them because compared to the graphics of games today, they are terrible.

buy this game in march, if u really like it, consider gettin FF-X on ps2.

lol well im surprised u never herd of it before. but none of the other games are really connected besides like chocobo's moogles and other key animals and items. storyline wise, there nowhere near similar so if u want u can start with this but the combat system is different from other Final Fantasy titles

Id say start with FF-X seen as u probably wudnt wanna go back to really old graphics n all that but FF-X part 2 isnt very good and nor is the latest one out atm.. they dont have the original ff gameplay imo

no, the release date has been tentatively set for the end of the first quarter of 2010 for north america... it hits japan in december of 2009, so expect it to be out by at the earliest March of 2010 in NA

lol I think it can be as popular as 7, too. The first FF on any console is always the most 'classic'. Fans love them some FF7 and FF10, both first on the PS1 and 2.

I went and 'purchased' the japanese blu-ray copy of FF7: Advent Children complete so that I can play the 2-hour long FFXIII demo that comes with it so I can post impressions on my site.

square enix ensured a 2009 release for ps3 but not for 360.
