@JosibiusZ Tell me about it. Even with the 3DS port of the classic N64 sequel you can still tell that Nintendo's having serious trouble with the SF franchise. They need to redeem themselves by producing the new game in-house or giving the license to a game studio that can give the franchise the respect it deserves. (Retro Studios may seem like a good fit, considering they've delivered fantastic revivals to Metroid and Donkey Kong.)
Anyway, I agree that the controls were awkward, but at least it was a step in the right direction. The Starfox series stepped into some crap with Adventures, but it seems that it pulled one foot out and put it back onto solid ground with the Arwing missions in Assault. Now all they need to do is get that other foot out of the crap known as land missions and make Starfox Wii!

after all the bad endings that Starfox command gave, nintendo needs to do something mind-blowing for a sequel

@sleepyeyedplumber or Namco, sense they did such an awesome job on Assault. Just put a greater emphasis on Arwing combat
