Right someone tell me now as nothing is making it clear.. Is Dirt 3 on th PS3 compatible with the G27 shifter and clutch pedal? As im only buying the g27 for gt5 and games that support the clutch..
if its any consent in most of todays rally cars they have auto-clutches because as you have said it it too hard to change gear that quickly. some even have sequential gear boxes(paddleshift gearboxes).
@nicholasxuu you need to find a game that supports the 900 degree steering, I'm not sure of all the games but I know that Gran Turismo 5 is one of them, Dirt 3 isn't, it may have looked like it, but that was him just going past the 180 degrees that dirt 3 uses (I have Dirt 3 and a G27 as well, and it doesn't do more than 180). You can probably google all the games that have 900 degree steering supported, I think the logitech site actually lists th egames that supports the certain features.
@douggoud Thanks, I do have GT5 and enjoy is a lot. I also found lots of ppl talking dirt 3 in PS3 only support 180 degrees, which is very annoying. Codemaster is really a jerk this time, barely acceptable graphic, awful wheel support, and it even need a VIP code to play online, can't even sell it out.
@nicholasxuu Yeah, I prefer to play Dirt 3 with a contorller, since I finally got away from using a 180 degree steering wheel (used to use a driving force wheel before my g27), and I don't know how I got by without my g27, lol
@douggoud exactly the same here, I would rather use gamepad than using my G27. I played the PC version of dirt & dirt2, loved them, so bought the PS3 version of dirt3, regretted. (waiting for rfactor2, so no plan to upgrade PC yet) Hopefully GT5 really takes time, just waiting if maybe sometime later codemaster can fix this bug (with a few lines of adjustments). Also, please don't make this mistake again in F1 2011. lol

@95xXxdude 600 hz pixles and 1080p hd then it will be fine like my tv panasonic viera but if u hav a sony bravia aka 50-100hz then it will be shit and fuked up graphics

@SaloioLusitano Unfortunately the Clutch is analogue but the game doesn't seem to have a clue how to handle this and expects an on/off response from the pedal.
The gear change seems to WANT a digital control flow :-
ie Clutch in - Gear to neutral to Gear - Clutch out, in the real world this is much different, so Auto clutch is the obvious way to go. It's a pity that sequential and Clutch is not supported as that was how my Charade was set up along with Hand Brake beside the Gear Lever.
@mozzmann there doesnt seem to be any game that can do the clutch right. gt5 also treats the clutch like a button. and i found myself having to take my foot off the clutch completely and then pressing it again or the car would go into nuetral a lot thru the race, even though the gearstick is in gear

Mine only has 180 degrees of rotation (on my g27).
