Hey guys, I'm selling my Hot Toys The Dark Knight 1/6 Batman Original Costume. IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX, so it's used. I've kept it on display in my room, that's it. I just got this figure, and I cant seem to get the hand plugs back in. At first I thought it was just me not trying hard enough cuz they can be bit of a pain, but I've tried so hard I thought I was going to break the arm off. It seems to me like the plug is too big for the hole. Weird I know but this is really bothering me. Does anyone else have this problem? Plz help!!!

@SprtnG667 I have read that The third batch from DC direct has been fixed, the lower ab is now made of a harder plastic, but it looks the same as my figure.

Well I'm a fan of the Batman character more than the Joker, so I prefer my DX Batman over a DX Joker. I must add I do not own a Joker DX , I have a Version 1 with a Bank robber Joker head.

If the Joker is your favourite character then get the DX version of him

Yes you can pose him in a Boxing stance, with no fear of breakage.

Just do it carefully as with all Hot Toys figures.

One solution you could apply to the figure to resolve the moisture/oil leak is to carefully spray that area (masked off of course) with flat/dull laquer coat (found in most major hobby supply shops) which will theoretically seal off that area so the oils can't leak/"breathe" up to the surface (basically filling up the microscopic porous rubber material). But, I'm a professional model builder so, this should be done only if you're comfortable with doing that. :)

I found the solution for the oil build up. There are some blue papers that woman use to remove the excess of grease from their face. I used one of these 2 days ago on my Batman, and so far the oil has not come back. I saw a lady at work using this on her face and that's when it hit me. What you do is place one of the papers on the area, and the carefully start pressing where the oil is and the surroundings. Do not use paint, the chemicals on the paint might damage the material on the figure.

Nice review. There was some forum talk about the main head (not the sonar one) claiming that the head sculpt was slightly off on the first batch (slightly assymetrical on the left side of his head/jawline area). Do you know if they've fixed that in the second batch?

The oil on mine is gradually disappearing on it's own, but I think it's going to take a while. Wiping it off only makes more appear later so I have left it alone, I would recomend you do that to if you get the same problem. Maybe your dealer could check it first?

that is funny i have the oil abs too i have clean them up and today i look at the figure and the oil is back, i don't know why the oil is coming back but bettter i let them alone that is the best i gan do.

Yes the best thing to do is to take the belt off and let it stand for a few days without touching it. My oil seems to be slowing and the oil on the surface seems to be evaporating. I will do an update in a week or so

Yes I love this figure, and I have been looking forward to it for a long time.

The oil is a worry and I don't want it to come to a situation where I have to replace it. All I want, is for the oil to go away.

the suit of my first one is okey no problems the Light up eyes heat too, i can't get my money back because i got the first one from evilbay after 7 days i can't get my money back but the great thing is about this batman figure that you can make tow Version's of him not a big deal.

The oil has come back a little.

I'm not sure what is, but a guess would be silicone oil. Fingers crossed that it will be ok.

The head was like oli on mine but not really because i t was cold outside and it was all inside

Box Cold too, great that the suit is now in tow Parts, i have one of the first dx batman from 09 and the suit is to tight and one of the ears is askew.

the new version is better as the last one.

You should keep it and Swap out the V1 head for the Sonar head and replace the cape with the backpack, after you have the DX.

Some things to note:

My batarang are made of plastic with foam outside.

No warping issues or paint peeling wonking back etc, on mine. You got a good one.

My Bats has a little moisture build up on the belt area, very slight abs. It comes back after like 6 hours. I've left him in the box all last night and no residue.

Awesome review/purchase. One of my faves congrats.

I have it in my detolf now, and I put one of the silicon gel bags behind the figure. So far no oil bleed.
