It's hard to breathe, it just crushes you and takes all your concentration. Mind you the pilot talked all through the high G turns - so obviously with training you can work through it with grace. I literally got in the machine and went for a ride with a 5 minute briefing - not exactly training!

A guy i knew years ago won a radio competition to fly in one of these....but one of the only 2 in Australia crashed a few days later so the remaining one was grounded. He missed out. Got a weekend trip somewhere instead. :-)

When I was a kid (in Czechoslovakia), I remember a walk with other kids from kindergarten while some Migs were passing high above.

It was wery peacefull and beautifull sound...I love airplanes maybe since those days, I wanted to be a fighter pilot but my eyes got wrong I knew I wouldn't pass healthy tests....My favorites were Czechoslovakian pilots fighting in 2WW in France and England, I could enjoy also some in Soviet Union...Germans were for me the worst beast...sorry
